“So, what should we talk about?”
“I don’t know.  What’s this meeting about?”
“Not sure.  Who set this up anyway?”

Today Randy and I met Pete and Anne in the cool part of Nashville for some coffee and conversation.  The funny thing, and the nice thing about the whole deal, was that there was no real point.  No agenda, no goal, nothing anyone was trying to talk anyone into.  Do you have any idea how refreshing that is?

Like most nerd blog conversations, it didn’t take long to start talking about the blogging world and how it’s changing and all that.  I feel like I talked way more than anyone else, and I feel a little bad about that.  It’s not normally what I do, but that’s what happens when I stay up too late, get up too early and opt for a juice over coffee.

Anyway, we had a great time today hanging out.  It’s great to get to know people that understand where we are coming from in this whole blogging thing, not to mention just really nice people.  See I should have saved that for Positive Post Tuesday, but oh well.  Anyway, if have been living under a rock for the last year or so and haven’t gone to Pete’s or Anne’s blogs check them out.  Everyone else is.

It’s not often I stay up until two in the morning.  Not because I don’t want to, but because I know that my “seven in the morning kid wake-up call” is more painful every time I do.  Last night we had some friends passing through from California to Florida and when that happens typically I stay up later than normal.

Remember Drew?  He’s the one I keep saying needs to blog.  Well, he’s still not, but I’m not holding it against him.  Well, last night Drew and another friend Eli got to town around seven and we decided to go out for some dinner and what not.  We ended up hanging out on my back porch until about two.  Pretty exciting huh?

I’m not really looking forward to how I’m going to feel later today, but I think it will work out because this afternoon Randy and I are meeting Pete and Anne for coffee at some awesome trendy place.  And along with coffee at some awesome trendy place comes caffeine so that’s good.  Right now I’m just trying to spell things right and not get easily distracted by Elmo on Sesame Street.

What time do you normally go to bed?  Does it change on weekends?
