Don’t worry. I’m not in jail or anything. I left for the airport yesterday at about six-thirty in the morning, and after sitting on the runway for an hour waiting for the weather to let up, flew to Atlanta. Once I got to Atlanta the weather was worse, and there we sat. I missed my connection because the airport is freaking huge, and was re-booked for another flight. Another flight that left five hours later.
I was able to get in three episodes of Lost, and a chicken caesar salad, watched travelers, and then got on my long flight to Orange County. Seat 44A. That was me. The back row, window seat, next to some skater guy writing what looked like some screenplay or something called “The Weed Child”. I tried not to look but it was intrigued. Finally I landed at about nine last night, West Coast time.
This morning I was up early and went to my grandma’s funeral, re-introduced myself to family I didn’t know, re-connected with my cousins and ate Mexican food. Now I am sitting outside watching the sun go down, getting ready for the day of traveling tomorrow. A quick, whirlwind trip, and I will be home tomorrow night.
On a side note, we are about to launch Natalie Grant’s new site. It’s going to be awesome and will be cool to see what she has to say on her blog. I will let you all know when it’s ready to go. Sorry if I am a little distracted right now, it’s been a long couple days.
