33 Miles “Today”

So, I’ve been trying to blog more about the bands that we work with over at the Skör Blog simply because I’d like for that to be the place we all discuss that stuff.  However, I always feel like kind of a jerk for not posting something on here too.  Not to mention, I think more of you are used to hanging out here than over there, so for the time being, I’ll have to do both.

Well, if you haven’t heard, we launched a brand new 33Miles site today.  It seems everything went off without a hitch and the guys seem happy with the site, so that makes us happy.  Now, I have to tell you.  These are hands down, some of the nicest guys you will ever meet.  I know I say that a lot in this industry, but I guess there’s just a lot of nice people. These guys are right up there.  I’ve known Jason casually for a couple years now, and just met Chris the other day.  Both of them are super genuine, super caring guys that love their families and love what they get to do for a living.  And speaking of that.  What they do for a living is release CD’s just like the one they did today.  It’s on iTunes for only 9 bucks.  So I suggest you head over there and pick that up.

Anyway, I’m looking forward to getting started working with these guys and really allow their personalities to come through on their site.  For now, head over to 33MilesOnline.com and welcome them to the SkörInc family.

ParadigmCCM

We’ve had a couple ‘different’ projects floating around these parts for the last few months, and in the spirit of letting you all know about them, I thought I’d mention this one.  Everyone give a warm welcome to  Paradigm (once Third Coast Booking Agency).  Now, this isn’t a blog site, or really a site that the general public would visit often but we still wanted to make it look and feel like a SkörInc site.  In fact, the coolest parts of this site are the parts most of you will never see.  The promoter login sections and all that is pretty cool.

So, while this might not be a site that you visit frequently we’re pretty proud of it and I thought I should let you know about it.  So check out ParadigmCCM.com and let us know what you think.

Welcome Stephen Mansfield To The Bunch

mansfield_group

It’s that time again.  Time to welcome another member of the SkörInc family.  This time it’s a little different though.  This time we’re welcoming New York Times Best Selling Author, Stephen Mansfield to the bunch.  Stephen has written several books including, The Faith of George W. Bush, The Faith of the American Soldier, Benedict XVI: His Life and Mission, The Faith of Barack Obama, and his most recent, The Search for God and Guinness. Yeah, so he’s no joke.

Stephen and his wife Beverly live in Nashville and we’ve been talking for a long time about this site, so I’m excited to get it launched and going.  Look for tons of info and blogging from this guy.  He’s a mass of knowledge and obviously a brilliant writer.  Make sure you head over to say hi, check out the site and let me know what you think.

Welcome Mrs. Amy Grant To The Family

the_new_amy_grant

Well, it’s that time again. To welcome another talented musician to the SkörInc family. Funny thing is, this next artist was one of the originals. One of the people who laid the foundation for what we know as the Christian Music Industry. Everyone please welcome Mrs. Amy Grant to the family. Now, obviously this is a pretty cool thing.  I grew up listening to Amy Grant, and to be able to work with her and her team is an honor.

The SkörInc team took this one to a new level.  Every site we launch I am more and more impressed with the guys that I get to work with. The creativity, the design and functionality. It’s above my head, but I’m glad they know about that stuff.

So anyway, take a second and go check out the brand new AmyGrant.com and let me know what you think.  And, as always, if you see anything weird, or something that needs to be changed, let me know here in the comments.

Favorite Amy Grant song?  Ready?  Go.

Welcome FFH To The Family

ffh_logo

So, check it out.  It’s time for you all to go over and welcome FFH to the SkörInc family.  You know what that means right?  That means it’s time to head over to FFH.net and give them a big ole’ Blog Nation welcome.

We met with these guys a few months ago and I instantly thought, ‘these are good people’.  Very real, very down to Earth, very comfortable folks.  And I have a feeling that’s going to translate brilliantly to their website. We’ve continued to do some new cool things on this site and Randy has taken some of the development aspects to another level (again). I’m super excited to be a part of their growing process and return to music.

Now, I know there’s all sorts of FFH fans here from way back, so you know the drill.  Let’s hear your favorite FFH song.  Then head over to their new site and give them a big hello for me.

Ready?  Go.

MercyMe.org

mm_header

So, most of you already know, but today we launched the new MercyMe site.  This was a fun one to strip down and really get back to the basics of content.  They still have a lot going on but I feel like the simplicity of it is really what we were going for.  Now, because this isn’t based off a new record it’s mostly based off of live photos.  Anyway, sorry for the ‘presentation’ style blog post.  It’s really late and I only slept about 3 hours last night.

Anyway.  Let me know what you think.  And like normal.  Spread the word, click around and let me know what you think.  I think this will be a fun new style for these guys to continue what they do.

Check it out.

Welcome Todd Agnew

todd_agnew

We’ve been working with Todd for a while now, but today marks the day of the official launch of his new website. Up until now Todd’s been blogging a ton and really interacting well on there, so I’m excited to see what we can do with a full site.  Yesterday also marked the day where you can pre-order Todd’s record “NEED” coming out October 6th.  Lots going on in the Todd Agnew camp, so make sure you check him out and say hello.

So let’s all head over to Todd’s new site, take a look around, and as always, let me know what you think.  Let me know if you see any tweaks that need to be made.  Time for BlogNation to rally again and spread the word.  Tweet about it, blog about it, put it on your Facebook, all that stuff. And while we’re here, you know how this goes.  Let’s hear your favorite Todd Agnew song.

Ready?  Go.

Let’s Welcome Building429

welcome_building_429

It’s that time again folks.  Time to welcome another artist to the SkörInc family.  These guys have been on the ‘interactive train’ for a while now, but I’m excited to take it to the next level with them.  You’ll notice their site’s got a lot going on over there so take some time to click around and check out all the little goodies.

And here’s where you all come in.  You know what to do right?  Start spreading the word.  Tell your friends, Tweet it, blog about it.  Do anything to get as many people as we can to check out the site.  Let’s give the Building429 boys a big fat SkörInc / BlogNation welcome, like only you guys can.

Be on the lookout for some really cool stuff from them and make sure to subscribe to their blog.  Sound good?  And while we’re here, what’s your favorite Building429 song?

Ready?  Go.

Welcome Matthew West

matthew_west_site

Alright folks.  You know how this works.  It’s time to spread the word about the new MatthewWest.com.  I’m super excited to start working with Matthew and his ‘camp’.  He’s got some amazing ideas for the future of the site, he’s a ridiculously good songwriter and on top of that he’s currently riding a twelve week number one single for Christian radio.  Sounds like a decent online buddy to me.

So here’s the deal.   Head over to Matthews new site, check it out, click everything and see if anything is broken.  You guys know how to pick apart a site and let me know if anything is screwy.  And then there’s the ‘spreading the word’ part.  Blog about it, Tweet it, Leave Matthew comments, and if you’re feeling ambitious, rent a plane and have it written in the sky above your city.

A big fat, “Welcome to the SkörInc Family” to a very talented Mr. West.
