Disciple – “After The World” – 2008

I have heard this song a few times over the past few weeks and for the life of me could not remember what it reminded me of. Then I saw the video, and it still was driving me crazy. Where have I seen something like this before? Why does it bring me back to Jr. High School, and why do I wish I had long flowing, curly locks of hair?

Then it hit me! And the song came flowing back.

“I’m the one who wants to be with you…. deep inside I hope you feel it too..”

Mr. Big – “To Be With You” – 1991

Quick side note about the Mr. Big song. Who really wants to “wait in a line, just be the next to be with” anyone? Isn’t that a little pathetic Mr. Big? Come on man. Have some self respect.
