How Do You Browse?

So, I’ve been playing around with different browsers recently, and I wanted to throw this out there. Up to this point I’ve been a pretty loyal Safari guy and here’s why. My reasoning is totally shallow and completely ‘un-tech’, but I don’t care. I figure if I’m using Safari on my Mac, wouldn’t I go with Apple’s browser? And to take it a step further, I’m using Safari on my phone (because it’s Mac’s browser). Consistency right? Well this past week I’ve been having some issues with Safari and I’ve been playing with some different browsers landing on Google Chrome.

Now I’m not completely sold on it yet, but it has taken it’s permanent place in my computers dock, so we’ll see what happens. It’s throwing me off a little just because I’m so used to things, but I’m kind of liking it.

What browsers are you using? Any argument why I should be using one over the other or is it just a preference thing?

Packed Like A Terrorist

case

This case has two computers, two power sources, two firewires, a camera, a lens, two Flip Cameras, sixteen double A batteries, and some other little goodies.  Should be fun getting on to a plane huh?

I’m flying to Denver tomorrow.  The other day I realized that since Kyle was meeting me in Denver, I was responsible for bringing not only my computer to the tour, but two others, and a camera and my luggage and some other stuff that we will need.  Realizing that there was no way I could carry all that on to the plan and even less of a chance that I would check it to be thrown around underneath the plane, I ran into Home Depot and got this little case.  Another trip to Target for the foam and ‘Presto’, instant suspicious case.

I’m sure it will take be about an hour to get thru security, but at least it’s not an early flight.  Now all I need is a set of handcuffs to hook this bad-boy to my wrist.

Dark Knights And Clean Apples

So I have been slightly without a computer for a while because I decided to try and clean things up on it.  However, doing that simply means taking every little thing off my computer and starting over and then putting everything back on it, which takes forever.  So now I think I am almost officially caught up to where I need to be to actually use my computer and have it not take fifteen minutes to do anything.

Thursday night we went to see The Dark Knight.  Was it good?  Yeah.  Was is creepy?  Yeah.  Was it violent?  Yeah.  Did Heath Ledger do a great job?  Yeah.  That’s right, everything you have heard, read about, seen online and cared to listen to is exactly what I would say about the movie.  Best movie ever?  Not so much.  It’s good, but not life changing.  Then again, what movie is?  I did however get a chance to run into Coury there, who was in fact wearing a shirt and also was kind enough to save us seats.  We also ran in to Stephen so it was cool to see him and talk a bit.

So how many of you have seen it?  If so, on a scale of one to five what do you give it?  I’m thinking a 4, but that might be generous.
