I’ve decided to put together a little reading list.  I think I mentioned it a while back on Twitter or something, but I’ve decided to start a little SkörInc book club.  You know, stuff that’s relatively related to what we do as a job, and stuff that I’ve heard is good.  Okay it’s not really like a book club in the Oprah sense of the word, but I’ve mentioned these books to the SkörInc team and we’re working our way through them, so I thought I’d mention them on here in case anyone else was interested in reading along.

As you can see by my awesome green check mark up there, I’ve only made it through the first book.  But I’m over halfway through the second and the third, forth and fifth are starting at me from the corner of my desk.  Now, I’m not the best ‘book reviewer’, so just take the fact that I’m recommending these books as my review.

The Five Dysfunctions Of A Team: Patrick Lencioni
Seems like a good place to start right?

Linchpin: Seth Godin
I’ve had more quotes stuck in my head from this book than any other ‘business’ book I’ve ever read.

Delivering Happiness:  Tony Hsieh
I’m continually blown away by the way this company is run. Can’t wait to start this one.

Fortunes Fool:  Fred Goodman
Music Industry? Check. Crisis? Check. How could it not interest me?

ReWork:  Jason Fried And David Heinemeier Hansson
Internet nerds and ‘outside of the box’ thinkers. Sign me up.
