If I could emoticon "Thumbs Up" this I would. I hate that question from clients, because it's always based on them and their audience. If you're a 20-something, your audience probably isn't bothered by 20 tweets a day. If you're an executive with a small following of 50-somethings, you probably talk less, have a little more content based material and can get away with tweeting less.

I always tell my clients, Go with how you would communicate with people. Great post Brody!

I don't pay attention...I've got so many non-Christian friends in the mix who tolerate my shenanigans. i will fess up that all the bible tweeters/pastors are lame. how are you building relationships when you are quoting GK Chesterton and Rick Warren all day?

Yep, yes and yah. I think how people present themselves on social media...even if it's exaggerated (which it all is), reveals what a person values most in life. I know people that post pictures of themselves all day, pictures of the weekend parties they participated in, the booze they drank, 20 nature trails they walked the last month....and then my Instagram, jammed full of all things Jack our little boy. It's truly to "show off" the cute, humorous and "capturable" moments in life.

The more I work in the social media sector, the more I'm plagued with the fact that everyone trying to diverse themselves is on the wrong road. The goal is not getting on social media and "doing it", it's a means to an end. The end....I have yet to figure that out.

I totally agree with you brnmbrns. Soon we will be watering our crops with energy drinks. lol

Brody, I tend to agree that this is a non-issue. Us "Christian's" find weird issues to be cross heavy bible thumpers or somehow deduce something to pure genius when it may have just been some random non-spiritual rant/post . Rarely, do I see us as a group being truly effective.

Side note- I don't know them personally but had a moment to be near the slight inner circle of Casting Crowns a few months back. Those guys, and I mean even the truck drivers, seamed genuine. Then there is a photog friend of mine who has shot even the likes of the band U-2 and he commented to me that Francis Chan was a genuine guy, and really lived out his faith even at home when no one was really listening.

Brody, I appreciate you bridging the gap.

I'm not sure I'd feel comfortable having you perform your psychoanalysis upon my IG. It's not a "pants around your ankle" thing...it's a "OMG, he's gone completely looney!" thing.

Top right is Jon Steingard from Hawk Nelson. Sad I know that, hehe.

I don't have an iPhone/iPad/iPod, thus I do not have instagram. However, I do take pix with my phone and post them on my twitter. Looking at mine, geesh, I'm a weird person! (I take pix of funny things I see and post them, LoL)
