For the past few months I’ve been absolutely hooked on Brett Dennen. Amazing writer, amazing voice, and what seems like a really genuine person. I hope we hang out someday.

It’s no secret that everyone’s blog stats suck on Sunday. It’s not a bad thing, just something that happens. People aren’t at work looking for something to pass the time. People are at church or out with their families, and don’t have time for blogs. Because of that I try not to exasperate too much energy on the Sunday morning post. Allow me to introduce “Stats Suck Sunday”. A day where I will throw onto my blog the first thing that I think of with the anticipation of getting little to no response. Enjoy.

This song kicked me in the stomach the other day while I was driving. It was a little dangerous but worth it in the end and I listened to it twice. Right now I have a long list of albums I need to buy, but haven’t had the time and don’t really want to blow a hundred dollars on right now. But I love it when you discover a little gem like this tucked all the way down at number eight on an album. Something you weren’t expecting and something that totally catches you off guard.
