Brody your last 2 1/2 years has been a little like this. But, usually in weeks or months, not back-to-back days. Your little dream has gotten bigger, your responsibilities more, and headaches to go along with it. You DO have an angel for a wife. I dream one day of living in her world of crafts & cooking & gardening & all things boys. Well, maybe not that last thing! You both have an awesome eye for detail and imaginations that are certainly showing up in the boys. I can see that from here!

Today’s 12 step meditation dwelt on this very thing. Having negativity in our day & acting out on that negativism. All day long. And it shows, not only on you, but those around you. But, turn that frown upside down and your light will shine. What is it in the song on tobyMac’s new CD? “Wonderin’”. There’s a line toward the end: “don’t shade the shine”. Those are 4 simple, but powerful words! Don’t shade the shine, Brody. Good things & bad are going to happen. Try a different pair of glasses & change your perspective. What is GOOD about the negative thing?
