I’m Not A Car Guy
I’m not a car guy at all, but I’ve heard that both of these cars are pretty cool. So here’s your task. I want to hear your thoughts on them. Pro’s, con’s or indifference, I want to hear what you think.
The top car is obviously the Mini Cooper. The bottom is a new Honda Crosstour.
Now, I don’t know anything about either one of these cars, or really about any other car out there, but I know that in the pictures these are both gray and I’ve heard a lot of ‘buzz’ about them both.
Which do you choose? Ready? Go.

I like the looks of the Crosstour better. But neither car is practical for my family of 9. I need a Suburban.
I’m with you. They are both gray. That’s it.
Just looked into the MINI great looking car showstopper transmission goes out around 60k miles cost of repair is 6-7k dollars can only be repaired at MINI. Honda most reliable car on the market our Odyssey has 198,000. I bet the crosstour has lots more room. Have fun by the bought my daughter a FIT instead of MINI
not a huge fan of two door cars. In most cases they prove to be a hassle especially when carrying drums, guitars, kids, small animals. So, I’d opt for the 4 door Honda.
But then again, the mini was in Italian Job, so you know you can always put a million dollars worth of gold in the trunk…
Both look too small for you.
You know I know nothing about cars at all, but we have been loking into Hyndai (?) spoke with Jeff G, and he says he never has had a need to work on one. Thought that sounded good.
Love you, Mom
The MINI is made by BMW. It has several of the same German engineering specs as high end European coups do. Handles tight. Gripping the wheel around hairpin turns feels like a nugget of raw control and power between your fingers.
That Honda car… Dependable and much cheaper to own and maintain overall. To me, this is really a comparison of apples to sugarbeets. Guess which one the Mini is…
I sat in a Mini at the Chicago auto show. Other than that, I’m with you on this. They’re both gray, but I really like gray cars, so that’s ok. I like the look of the Mini Cooper better, but my dream car is the polar opposite. I want a big, black Hummer.
The Crosstour for the win…..but a lot more money than the Mini.
No clue. I’d probably go with the Crosstour because I’m a big guy, so the bigger the better… which also means I’m probably never getting a Crosstour either. I drive a Mazda Tribute. I like it. My favorite thing about it is that I made up a song about it. Well, I really just copied a Tenacious D song but changed it up to “This is not the greatest car in the world. It’s just a TRIBUTE”
Between the two: Crosstour. Mini’s too small for my family of 4. Besides you need to put 89+ octane in it. High mpg but at $.10 more/gallon…
