Thanksgiving
I don’t know if everyone does this, and I don’t think we even do this every year, but I’ve heard of folks going around the Thanksgiving Dinner table and saying what they are thankful for. Now, I don’t think many folks are going to be doing much blog reading today, but I thought it’d be cool if we did that here.
So here’s the deal, up there is your awesome Thanksgiving meal complete with aluminum tray. Let’s take some time and list out the things that we are thankful for today.
Today I’m blown away at what an amazing family I have. Three healthy, awesome boys and an amazing wife that keeps me together. It’s been a crazy year and I’ve been gone most of the year and I don’t know how Kristin has kept things together at the house with the three crazies. I couldn’t be more thankful that I get to be home for a while, settle in and enjoy being with them.
Alright. Now it’s your turn. We’re all sitting around this table. Let me know what your thankful for today.
Ready? Go.

Hello Brody from across this huge table!:::I am so Thankful for my wife and my 2 sons: 9 year old and a 5 year old. If it wasn’t for them I could go insane
Overall I am thankful for meeting great friends in the internet world:: God Bless you all
We do this as well, and I think it’s fabulous that you have brought it to all through this “internet round-table” ….
I’m thankful for the salvation so freely given to me through a sacrifice at Calvary that I did not earn; I’m thankful for the wife and children that the Lord has entrusted to me and all that they mean to me; and I’m thankful for the blessed friends that I have made over the past year while we have each been celebrating what Christ has done in our lives.
Thank you Brody and Happy Thanksgiving to you, Kristin, and the boys. May you enjoy this time of rest together.
We don’t celebrate Thanksgiving in my country, but I’d like to me part of it Brody.
I’m thankful for my mom, brother, grandma, aunts and uncles, cousins, my boyfriend and friends..because we all are together and happy, and helthy, and I’m thankful for my country BRAZIL, because despite all the bad things that happen here there is no place to live like here…and above all this I’m thankful for my God who is always with me giving me all the things I need to live here, and supporting me all the time.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!
Im thankful for the roof over my head, clothes on my back, food on my table, a healthy mind, body and sould and some amazing friends and family to share this life, which Im also thankful for!
There are so many things but here is the short list.
I am thankful that my children and I are healthy and are together today and all that food that we are gonna eat.
I am also thankful that there is no casserole on the menu for today (it is the little things).
I am thankful for country in which we live and the people who make sacrifices today and everyday to keep it free.
God Bless you and yours today. I hope y’all have a Great Thanksgiving…(I love the Pilgrims and Indians place card especially the “chief”:-D)
We actually said what we were thankful for when we got up this morning.
I’m thankful for Jesus and his sacrifrice. I’m thankful for my hubby, my son, my granddaughter and all of my family. I’m also thankful for my 14 year old dog that shows me unconditional love everyday. For our health, for our jobs and that we are able to pay our bills each month.
Brody, I am thankful for you and the online stream and chat you begin last year where I met so many wonderful friends. Friends that live all over the country and that I never would have had the chance to know if not for you.
I wish you, Kristin and the boys a very Happy Thanksgiving!
I’m thankful for my husband an my daughters, great friends, and every good and perfect gift that God has given me. I’m also thankful for the little things like music and ipods, good coffee, and chocolate. Now, please pass the cranberries
I am so thankful for my precious daughter and son. They are grown now. Mydaughter is married and my son became engaged 3 weeks ago to a wonderful young Christian woman. Both of my children live for the Lord. My daughter works for TN Baptist Convention and my son lives in NYC and is one of the planters of Trinity Grace Church. I am thankful that God had my back as I raised both of them pretty much by myself. I was able to finish nursing school after they were old enough to go to school. I thank God everyday that I am able to care for and minister to my elderly residents at the skilled facility that I work at. I am also thankful for people like you Brody that keep us in touch with so many talented Christian artists and causes that we all need to pray about and support when we can. I realize the sacrifices your family makes, so that you are able to do what you do. Above all, Lord Bless our troops and their families that make it possible to enjoy our freedoms. Happy Thanksgiving to all.
I am thankful for the grace and love of God, the blessing of family, and the friendships of new and old friends!
Thanks, Brody, for giving us music and video full of many blessings!! Have a great Thanksgiving!
I am thankful for the family God has blessed me with, good, bad or indifferent. I am thankful for you, my brother, Erin, Kendra, Dad, my mom and yours. I am thankful for every breathe God gives me and every chance that is given to bring us all together as a family.
I love you bro.
Send the family my love!
Thankful and humbled by all God has allowed me to go through so that I can give Him Glory. Thankful for all the things we are unaware of that He takes care of for us. Thankful that Christ my Savior is again seated on the Throne receiving the praise and adoration He deserves. Thankful for the Holy Spirit and His patience with me.
My heart is filled with peace and joy knowing that our son and his godly wife Abby are raising their children to be free in Christ. There is just nothing better.
Lastly I am thankful for the crew of men and women who make it possible for MercyMe to carry the Gospel where God leads. You are a large part of that now Brody and I am very thankful for you and for your family’s sacrifices. God Bless you richly!
We do this as well… I am thankful for my salvation. I am also blessed and thankful for my family, friends, church, and health. I love this day in that people focus on what really matters. Thanks for posting Brody. (I am also thankful for those who set up tech, cameras, and on-line feeds to MercyMe concerts… and the ability to chat with them during it. =) Appreciate ya bud!)
I am thankful for my family and my friends. I am thankful for my crazy boys. I am thankful for my awesome husband. I am thankful I have a home that is warm. I am thankful for good health. And most of all I am thankful for my God who loves me and gave me all the other things I am thankful for!
Thankful that we have the freedom to give thanks! That I live in a country where we can talk about God & Jesus without fear of prison or death! Thankful to be able to pass this treasure on to others.
Thankful for my husband & daughter. And stepdaughters. And 6 grandkids. Thankful for so many family & friends & twiends (as MPT calls them). Thankful for the job my husband has. Even thankful for Central WA. Thankful for the technology that keeps us all close.
Be blessed. Love the pics of the boys this morning! (Talk about technology!).
I am thankful for my Job, Last year on Dec 2 I was fired and was out of work for about 4 months when I did finally get a new Job it was paying 1/2 of what I was making. BUT God is awesome and has continued to provide or needs, and that My family has stoodby me throurgh it all.
I am thankful for my Savior. There would be no life without Him. I’m thankful for my family. My husband, who works so hard to support our family while serving our country these last 22 years. For the godly example he is to me and our children. For our son who is serving God though his music and ministry to the youth of our church. He leaves for college next month and we will miss him dearly! For our beautiful daughter, Kelly, who’s had a very hard year. She became addicted to drugs, but though the grace of God, some wonderful counselors and sheer determination on her part, she’s been clean and sober for 52 days and counting! For our two younger daughters who love the Lord and seek to serve Him. For the Christian education they receive at school each day; for their teachers who love, pray and guide them; and for the freedom to practice our faith without persecution. I’m also very thankful for our three children we sponsor through Compassion. Our precious Wedner, and Byron and Eva.

Today, I’m thankful for the youth minister and his wife at my church. I live in Louisiana and they’re from Texas, Florida, and Mississippi, but have only lived here a couple years now. Anyway, they were staying home for Thanksgiving, and I had to work for Thanksgiving, so I was missing the family lunch, so they invited me to theirs which wasn’t until after I got off. I spent a good 5+ hours over there hanging out with them and their 5yr old son. I don’t recall having a better Thanksgiving.
I’m also thankful for a lot more of course, such as you, Brody, and the gang I’ve met through you.

and o yeah, i’m thankful for mercy me doing live broadcasts online. and for you making that possible.
have an awesome thanksgiving, brody. i hope you, kristen and the boys have many many blessings!
I am thankful for all of the wonderful family and friends our Father has blessed me with, for the opportunity to live and be Jesus to the people here in China, the relationships that are forming here, the ministry He has called me to, the community of people I have been given through twitter, MM concerts & other online venues; and most of all for the incredible love, grace, and mercy of our Father & the sacrifice of His precious Son which gives me the chance to have Life.
Happy Thanksgiving!
I’m a little late but I can say, after-the-fact, that I am definitely thankful to have a family that is so close, that we can shove 28 people into a 4×9 kitchen to say the pre-Thanksgiving-Dinner prayer and not want to kill each other at the same time :p
