MercyMe Live In Des Moines

des_moines_broadcast

So, as most of you know, we’ve been broadcasting the MercyMe tour every night possible and have done so for the last 3 tours.  Well yesterday was one of those special days where you show up at a venue and they have everything to make the broadcasting possible.  I almost kissed the church video guy…. but that would have been a weird first impression I suppose.  But anyway, I knew last night was going to be a good show online, and it was.  The awesome thing?  We’re here again tonight.

See, the people of Des Moines apparently are pretty big MercyMe fans and they needed to add a second show because the first one sold out so fast.  Funny thing is, the second show sold out faster and I’m guessing they could have added a third show.

All this to say, 1,267 of you showed up online last night to watch the show and make my job awesome.  So thanks for that.  Also, tonight is round two of the ‘Des Moines Take Over’.  Make sure you start telling people about it now.  Tell people to head to m.ercy.me 7PM Central.  See you there.

The concert stream last night was awesome! I think anybody tuning in tonight will be amazed at the quality.

I was so excited about being able to go to tonight’s concert that I didn’t go to bed until 3 am. It will be my 8 year old son’s first concert ever! :-) Thanks again for making that possible.

Outstanding! What’s the next head-shaving goal and who is the victim? ;-) Was busy at a actual live in-person show last night but may be there tonight! 1268!

  4. It was a great show! The internet was good and the sound was awesome. I’m so looking forward tomorrow to be there in person. But you know that.

  5. Sorry I had to duck out early. Friday night commitment. Will be there tonight. Already RT’d & FB’d the link for tonight. Will do so again soon. Good grief. That’s a lot of peeps.

Hope your knee gets better. At least you don’t have to run the 1 camera. :)

I hated to miss it as well, praying that I am able to sit in tonight and worship. Ya gotta love it when all things work towards the promotion of the Gospel. Glad this venue was all ready for you guys!
