What A Week

skor_release_day

So check this out. This week is absolutely insane and I’m about to try to break down everything that is going on in my corner of the world. No doubt I will forget some valuable piece of information on this post, but as long as it all gets done in real life we’re good right?

Let’s see. We’ll start with the SkörInc artists that are releasing records today. How’s that sound? Yeah that’s right. Artists. Plural. Four to be specific.

  • Fee’s “Hope Rising” releases today complete with one of the best songs I have heard in a long time “Everything Falls”.
  • Anthony Evans has a Christmas record released on iTunes today called “What Christmas Means” and will have a brand new site launched within the next week or two.  Be on the lookout for that.
  • Yancy also has a Christmas record out today called “Have A Fancy Yancy Christmas” also available on iTunes or her site.
  • Mr. Todd Agnew is also releasing a record today called NEED available in stores and also on iTunes.

Told you.  And that’s just the beginning really.  Let’s see, what else?

  • Matthew West has a Christmas book coming out called “Give This Christmas Away” and has been working with Veggie Tales to make that something really cool. He’s even got video with Amy Grant.
  • Daniel Renstrom has a Christmas record coming out October 27th called ‘On The Incarnation’.  And by the way, it’s something you will all want to get.  So there’s plenty of SkörInc Christmas music floating around so this year, you’ll have all new stuff.
  • Shane & Shane have a new record coming out November 3rd and if it’s anything like the rest of their stuff, you’ll want to pick that up.
  • Most of you know that Phil Wickham’s new record “Heaven & Earth” is available for pre-order and with the purchase of the larger package, you are able to download the full record and an acoustic version.  An amazing deal if you ask me.  And yes, there’s a new site in the works for Phil as well.  Be looking for that over the next few weeks.
  • The Katina BoysNatalie and several others are putting on a benefit show tomorrow night for the victims of last week’s Tsunami in Samoa.  Anyone in the Nashville/Franklin area should make sure to come out.

Let’s see.  Most of you know that this was my last week with Billy Currington, and everything went great with his entire camp.  In fact, we’re already in the process of another project with him, and planning on some cool ideas for next year.  But with that ending, starts something new.  I’m heading back out with the MercyMe boys this week and kicking off their fall tour “An Evening With MercyMe” which will include the Fee guys as well.  Along with touring with the MercyMe guys, we’ve started talks of a new site and even more interaction. It’s going to be awesome. I promise. Oh yeah, and there’s The Roadshow. Remember that? 2010 is going to be amazing, but that’s for another post.

Well, like I said, I’m sure there’s more that I am forgetting, but to take the time to think about it now will only set me back even further.  So if you were wondering, No, I’m not going to see U2 this week like the rest of the planet.  I wish I could, but I’ve got a little bit going on.  So let’s hear it.  What out of all this stuff are you most excited about?

  1. So what I want to know is whyyyyyy is Safe not on iTunes yet when it’s all over the radio?! I want it, but I’m hesitant to buy the preorder package because I’m not sure if I’m that big a Wickham fan yet.

  2. Shellie

    SLACKER!

Looking forward to MM & their interaction. Praying that means internet interaction! All I need now is INTERNET. So slow. The wait time is excruciating.

Keep it rolling, Brody. We await instructions.

  3. new music is always fun.

i think the list item i’m looking forward to most is the tour dates for the Roadshow.

  4. Let’s see ……. A new site & more interaction with MercyMe is what I’m most excited about! Wish I could see the Fall tour & the Roadshow in person, but I doubt it will happen.

Fee’s CD finally being delivered to my mailbox!

I know this is on your list to choose from, but I’m excited that The Katinas will be out here next month!

Also, I’m not going to see U2 at all either and you’re right 2010 is going to be an amazing year!!!

  5. It’s great to visit again! I love the modifications and my regards to you and family!!!

  6. I’m most excited that you will be on tour with the MM guys! I don’t know why I was thinking that you weren’t going to be, but I guess you are. Nice. Now I’ll get to say hi to you too! This time your coming right into my own neighborhood (or there about.) Very, very nice! See you in November.
