Billy’s Canada Show
This picture is of my friend and Billy’s bass player Alex right after the stage apparently collapsed and he was stuck under it. I woke up this morning with a message saying that the storm hit the stage, it collapsed, and Alex has a broken arm. That’s all the news stories are saying.
I skipped this trip to Canada with Billy. It was only one show and there wasn’t really a need for me to go all the way to Canada for one show. Now, typically during the set I am walking around on the stage or in the crowd taking pictures, but more often than not I am on the stage the entire set. This is the one show this year that I didn’t go on and it’s looking like it’s a good thing I didn’t.
I’m still trying to check on the guys, who I assume are still in Canada, but I will let you know more once I am able to talk to them.

We will lift them all up in prayer Brody, thanks for letting us know — may God bless you and allow you to comfort and be at peace.
Praying for all who dealt with this scary incident. Hoping those who were injured heal quickly, and peace for the family of the person killed.
Glad you skipped this one Brody.
Lifting them up in prayer. Its a blessing that you skipped this show.
This is a sad day indeed. Normally I would jokingly mock someone who declined a chance to come to my country but Brody, My Brothah, I don’t feel that way today…so grateful that you are safe. Dan, once again you’ve covered the prayer list completely and I want in. Lifting them all up now \o/
I have goose-bumps. Wow. God protected you and now I pray He continues to protect those injured and hurting. Especially for the family of the person who died. And for continued healing of the minds of those who were there. Amen.
Not the way I like to wake up, MAN Bad News. I am SO sorry to hear that.
My prayers are with Billy Currington, Alex Stevens, the band and the crew up there and there families for a quick recovery and restored health.
Brody I am SO thankful that you were not there and I imagine @thisiskristen and your boys are thankful more than I can type. God kept you home for a reason.
Thank you for letting us know. Please give us an update as soon as you hear something. Again Thank You…
Thanks for the update Brody. Praise the lord you were not there. My prayers are with Alex, Billy, and the rest of the band and others who were injured.
Of course, we are in prayer for your injured friend. So glad you are safe @ home with family. Be careful and take care of yourself.+
Wow, that is scary. Glad you were safe at home!
