I grew up about 10 minutes away from it for the first 9 years of my life. Went there probably about 20 times in those years. Gotta love an indoor theme park.

I went once when I was in 8th grade. I think we rode the roller coaster and walked around bemoaning the fact that we weren't going to buy anything. A mall is a mall is a mall.

Last time I was there I ditched the mall and went to Ikea instead. I'd suggest that.

We live about 5 hours from there and have been a few times. Military gets a discount to the theme park so it's doable once i awhile. I like the "As Seen on TV" store. I like to look at all the goofy stuff they have. There's too many of the same kind of stores in there for my taste, but my teenage daughter could live there! No Chik-Fil-A in the food court is a huge bummer too!

Never have been. It's no where near Louisiana. I have been to the mall of Louisiana on several occasions, but I'd like to think that the mall of "America" would be 50 times better than just a lil state mall.

Go to IKEA, Brody and skip the mall! That's what I would do. Although, Mela says they have a QVC, so I'd have to go there for the Bare Escentuals too, but you don't wear make-up so...
We wanted to go to MoA for Spring break, but decided the 17 hour drive was too much. Maybe some day

Totally unrelated.

Had the joy of telling my daughter that the "video" of Bart's conversation the other day was put together by you! She came across it on Mark's blog! I asked her this morning had she heard they were going to part of 2010 RAWRS. Her response was, yeah saw that on Mark's blog. Oh, no, our world's collided again, but not as big a crash! LOL! Just wanted you to know another Kubicki enjoyed your work of art! :)

Sure have - live in nearby suburb, but go only when necessary ...
as a Mom, I'd frankly rather stub my toe repeatedly than go to that monstrocity that is the MoA.

Underwater World is great one-time through, but not repeat visits - unless you have toddlers - big fish swimming around you never gets old at that age.

QVC store is my only must-stop, because of the Philosophy & Bare Escentuals.

Nickelodeon Universe is too pricey for locals to frequent regularly, so we try to stay away. Liked it better as Camp Snoopy, I think anyway.

Like with most things - we take it for granted because it's right here and we don't think of it as special. Visitors might think otherwise. IKEA next door is fun to look through, but frustratingly maze-like. You can get your exercise walking either place - they are ginormous.

Enjoy!
