Oh, Mandy
So, I got this comment on my post from yesterday from someone named Mandy. She said this:
“when you talk i wish that violence was alright.”
Now, I’m not sure really what that means, but I don’t think it’s a nice thing. Not to mention the obvious lack of care in refusing to capitalize the first letter of a sentence and the “I”. Oh Mandy. You came and you gave without taking. And I sent you away. Oh, Mandy. Maybe it’s because you love Myspace. Maybe it’s because you hate me. Maybe it has nothing to do with me and it’s just the sonic waves of my voice that literally make you wish that violence was alright. I don’t know what it is Mandy, but what I do know is this. Yesterday is a dream I face the morning, crying on the breeze, the pain is calling, oh Mandy.
Please don’t hurt anyone today. Violence is never alright. Even if it’s induced by reading a website that you willingly went to.

I can never get enough Barry Manilow.
This reminds me of a little something that’s going on in “national news” lately… y’know, that oh so important tiff between Perez Hilton and Will.I.Am. Oh yeah, very similiar. Haha.
Yes, I’ll admit it, I love Barry Manilow. He was “it” when I was in high school. Now, Mandy is really written about a dog. Dogs can be violent if provoked. Really ties together well.
One only needs look at the pic of you & Cooper that Kristin put on her blog on Father’s Day to know there is no violence in you!

Not sure who this Barry guy is, but I think you have some lyrics to a good song in that post. You should get to writing that.

I could not figure out what the comment meant either. But like Shelley I have to admit I like Barry Manilow too and I had no idea that the song “Mandy” was about a dog. I like the song even more so now.

I (<—I capitalized the”I” for you) apologize for the comment I left yesterday. I probably shouldn’t have said that. I am sorry that I offended you. I don’t hate you, I value your opinions, I really do. Again I’m sorry.
And for the record, (yes I know, I shouldn’t start sentences with an “and”) I know violence is not alright. I only said that I “wish” it was, I wasn’t going to act on those “urges.” Really, I never felt like using violence against you. I would never hurt someone intentionally. I know that seems hypocritical because of what I said, I didn’t think it would make you angry enough to write a blog about it. (I didn’t think you would even care.)
Once again, I am truly sorry.
