SkörInc Welcomes Todd Agnew

todd_agnew

It’s that time again.  The time to announce the newest online friend of SkörInc, Todd Agnew.  We met with Todd a few months ago and sat down and talked about all his ideas for what he wanted his web presence to look like.  It was cool to get a window into his personality a little and now we have the opportunity to allow you a window into his personality as well.

Now, this process is a little different than other “normal” SkörInc projects, simply because this will be done in a ‘Phase One / Phase Two’ launch.  What’s that mean really?  Not much other than the site that is currently up is a ‘Temporary” site and we will have an official launch when Todd’s new record comes out in a few months.  Sound good?

So, here’s what that means for you.  It means that it’s time to head over to Todd’s new site, say hello, Follow him on Twitter, and make sure to check back for more from Todd in the coming months.  We’re excited to start working with Todd and I hope you will all welcome him to the SkörInc family and Blog Nation.

And while we are here, how many Todd Agnew fans do we have?  Favorite songs?

  1. Me, me, me! I’m a Todd Agnew fan! How exciting. Fav song? Hard, but, “this fragile breath”. I like so many. :)

  2. I didn’t even know he had a new album coming out. Sweet

  3. oh… fav song… “On A Corner in Memphis” perhaps.

  4. I’m not real familiar with him. I recognize his name from doing the EasyWorship @ church. So, I guess so far the song I like most is ‘Grace Like Rain’. Look forward to hearing more of his stuff.

  8. I’m a huge fan of Todd’s music! He has a very unique voice, and I love that. It’s hard to pick a favorite song, so I’ll pick a few. Still Has A Hold, Our Great God, This Fragile Breath, and Isaiah 6.

  9. I saw him at a festival last summer. I enjoy what I know of his music, and look forward to hearing more. Welcome to the Brody Bunch, Todd!

“My Jesus” shook my world when it came out on KLOVE. Not that the message put things in a way I hadn’t thought, but in a sense the opposite. It was a matter of wow, someone else feels the same way, and KLOVE’s letting him say it. I had heard plenty of people outside the Christian world talk about the issues, but not from within. I was pretty new to CCM music and any sort of contemporary ministry at the time so it was eye-opening to hear a song like this, that spoke to my growing disenchantment with the Christians I went to church with so elegantly. Not to say I’m perfect, never been, never claimed to be. It just helped me to realize that the priorities of the church I was at were not my priorities, and that was okay.

Long answer, and Todd has written some great stuff, but I’ll have to stick with “My Jesus” for its impact on me.

  11. this rocks! I am a fan! Cannot wait to see the great things that come from this :) I love the song If You Wanted Me… beautiful haunting with his voice, the music, and the lyrics.

  12. Isaiah 6 – hands down.

  13. Paisley

Love Todd. Especially glad that he chose to call Memphis home for a while.

As for favorite song, I would say my favorite is whatever song God chooses to use that current day to speak to me.
