‘The Brody Bunch’
So, The Roadshow is long over, but I have been meaning to show you guys this for a while. Most of you here will remember “Mr.D”, but for those of you that don’t Mr.D is Mike from Tenth Avenue North’s dad and watched the show nearly every night chatting with other folks watching. Mr.D quickly became a ‘regular’ on the broadcasts, answered questions, encouraged people, and I’m sure most importantly to him, was able to watch his son play every night all over the country.
Now since then, Mr.D and I have officially met in person at the Dove Awards and he even brought me a little gift bag that was almost heisted by the Opry House cleaning crew. And here it is folks. The one and only ‘Rock And Worship Roadshow – Brody Bunch T-Shirt and hat’, in Roadshow red no less. I think it’s pretty cool and I think it’s unbelievably kind for someone to go out of their way to make me something like this and I appreciate all who were involved.
Although I haven’t really had much time to think about it, I’m really looking forward to next year. I know there is already talk of who will be on it, so keep checking The Roadshow Website for details. Thanks again Mr.D and everyone who was involved.

Thanks for sharing this Brody . . .and for all you did that made it possible for all of us to enjoy The Roadshow from home. It was truly wonderful and I will be looking forward to next year.
Hard to believe how fast the last month has gone! You’ve been to the Doves. You received a well thought-out gift. And you’ve gone country! You’ve done NASCAR. And watched Blue play baseball. Thanks for all you are doing to bring artists & their fans together. The “Brody Bunch” peeps have become fast friends. I don’t know exactly what you asked God for, but I know it is beyond your wildest idea. Keep your ear to the Heavens because I know He’s not done!
Amen, Shellie. It has only just begun. I will tell you, it began when Brody and Kristin decided to see what it meant to “step out in faith, trusting the Lord”. There you go.
Super cool.
Makes the job fun when the group of people you work with/for are more family that co-workers.
Congrats on finding a group of people that seem truly special.
awesome!! i wish i had my own ‘puter instead of a work laptop. they block whatever app runs the chats. so while i got to SEE the r&w roadshow, i didnt get to participate in the chats.
thanks, brody, for making that online viewing possible. it got me through the worst of the time after my marriage broke up. mercy me encouraged me every time i heard them.
i’m hoping the next time ya’ll are out on the road, i can talk our youth pastor into broadcasting one of the concerts live at the youth center, and throwing a big online mercy me party.
I’ve said this before and its still true we were not only fans of the bands but we were Brody fans as well. All of us original peeps have been with you since the MercyMe tour in the fall of 2008 and we have become good friends. During the Roadshow several more people joined the chat and we made even more friends. This is possible thanks to you and all you have done. You have made it possible for us to make friends with people we would have probably never met in this lifetime because of the distance between us. So, not only did you bring us some great online concerts but you provided an opportunity for us to meet some great people. Thank you so much for all you do for us.
YaY Mr. D! Awesome shirt and hat. Way to go.
I miss the Roadshow!
