Stats Suck Sunday – In Bullet Points
- Today we decided to skip church and hang out as a family. It’s been almost two months of me traveling, and us running in different directions, and it felt like it was time to do that.
- The Franklin Festival is amazingly expensive to ‘walk around’ at. Five dollar corn dog? Really?
- Last night with Billy went well. Completely out of my element, but I think that will only make me work harder.
- Working on my fourth cup of coffee today. Seems like I should be really awake.
- The garden Kristin planted a few weeks ago is starting to show signs of life.
- Still trying to figure out the whole ‘Cupcake Craze’. I think it bothers Kristin more than me, but we both think it’s a little silly.
- I’ve decided that this week is a week of getting organized, so we’ll see how that goes.
- Organization is not my strong point.
- It’s been a while since I have done a Stats Suck Sunday post, but it’s been cool to see both this and Positive Post Tuesday continue to some level.
- I wish the font that I was typing this in, actually showed up like this when I published it to my blog.
- Fresh basil is awesome.
- Seriously, who would have thought two years ago that Cupcakes would be the new awesome trendy thing?
- I’ve been really wanting to see the third ‘X-Men’ movie for a while now. I might need to go get that.
- Haven’t Cupcakes been around forever?
- I met Dane from The Biggest Loser last night. He looked good and supposedly ran a marathon yesterday. A marathon where someone died running it.
- I bet Dane from The Biggest Loser doesn’t eat trendy Cupcakes. I should have asked him.
- Two different ice cream trucks have come into our cul-de-sac in the past hour. I think we’ve been targeted.
- This list is long and probably pretty annoying.
Welcome to Sunday. Our stats will suck, but we all have random stuff to say. What’s on your mind today? The rules are simple. Write your bullet point random thoughts on your blog. Fill out the box below. Sounds easy right? Ready? Go.

No stats to share except that I have been way too busy lately and almost passed out after church today. My stat would be that when you’re almost 51, it’s time to realize I’m not 16 anymore. Phooey.
Oh, and you made me want a cupcake.
I don’t have time to post my own SSS. My comment will have to do. 14 year old is making pancakes for dinner. Husband is scraping window sills so we can get this stupid house sold. 10 yr old and 13 yr old are emptying dishwasher. I’m trying to plan the next 5 weeks out so well that they aren’t nearly as stressful as I fear they will be. At this time next week, I will be on an airplane headed to FL and a cruise ship. Did I mention house much planning is involved in leaving your “life” for a week?
This day has been pretty laid back and I am enjoying it…I like your point on the font because whenever I get the font I want posted, I thank God for the miracle. Have a great Sunday everyone!
I have heard about this cupcake trend before…it’s indeed quite silly. I don’t understand how it became a “trend” all of the sudden, but such is the case with most randomly popular things.
And I agree, fresh basil is awesome.
What a beautiful weekend for Stats to stink on Sunday.
hey brody! bet your enjoying the time w/family.
Not sure what the cupcake thing is all about, but i’ll take a death by chocolate from bennigan’s any day of the week instead. lol.
Have an awesome week!
Five bucks for a corn dog?! Psh!
Sometimes it’s good to skip church. Good on ya for putting family first.
I don’t have a blog… thought about starting one but decided nobody would read it haha.
Love them stats though.

You do realize the friend you & my daughter have in common had a “cupcake” grooms cake at his wedding. There weren’t very many cupcakes, but it made for a cute idea. It was Mark’s idea, I think. I sure hope Lisa gets to meet him on the cruise next week! Sorry my blog has been unattended the past couple of weeks. I haven’t done a SSS in 3 weeks! Well, I was gone this weekend…I hope to get PPT up tomorrow. Life gets busy sometimes. Glad Cooper is ok!
