The Last Day

roadshow_09

So, today is the last day.  This was the shortest tour I have been on but was able to make some great friends and have an amazing time out on the road again.  We’re in Springfield, IL today and, while I’m more than ready to be home, I will be sad to not be on the road with these guys anymore.

Here’s the funny thing.  Aside from Audio Adrenaline I have never been on the road with bands that live in Nashville.  It’s awesome to be on the road with Tenth Avenue North and Hawk Nelson and know that we all live around each other and can hang out beyond the tour.

So as this year’s Roadshow comes to a close, I hope that it’s been an experience like no other tour on the web.  My goal was to ‘step up’ the web interaction on an entire tour and give everyone watching a better view into what it’s like being on the road.  I hope I’ve done that to some level.  Kyle was a great help keeping things going, and without him I think I would have run out of steam a long time ago.

And speaking of tonight being the last night, we have (finally) gotten clearance for everyone to be broadcast on the stream tonight.  That’s right.  The show from beginning to end will have no breaks.  Make sure you’re watching and tell your friends.

Here’s to a great tour.  Now it’s time to start planning for next year.  And it’s only going to get better.

  1. Enjoy this show to the fullest Brody!

  2. That’s an amazing picture! Love it! You definitely stepped it up with this tour, and our “original” little group has added more peeps to the community that will keep in touch and share our lives through this awesome tool God’s given us. You guys all made that possible through your obedience and faith to God and what He’s called each of you to do. We can’t thank Him for you enough!
We truly love you all, and will miss our interactions with you. Don’t be strangers, ok? And when you guys are ready for next year’s bigger and better tour, you know that “the Brody Bunch” of Blog Nation will be trying to blog well and do all we can to help you!
    Blessings!

Thanks Brody for the great experience of being able to be a part of this awesome tour!Going to the Ontario show and seeing it live was beyond words but getting the opportunity to come and worship together night after night has truly been spectacular!Thank you Thank you Thank you to you Brody and to you Kyle and to all who made this webcast possible you brought us closer to the Lord and to the artists that inspire us for him and for that Thank you is not enough!See you next year!!!

  4. Audio A, woot! The RAWRS was incredible. We have been so blessed by you for “pushing he button” every night for us to be able to watch online. I’m one of the originals from last fall, and it’s so awesome to not only be able to worship with some incredible bands, but to also develops new friendships. Fresno, was also incredible….the best audience I’ve ever been in.

  5. Once again, you are hiding in a picture, under your beloved hat. I love Culmer peeking out from behind Kyle. What a great memory for everyone involved. Can hardly wait for the next great adventure! I’m already crying & the show is hours away! Boo hoo!

    Hey Brody

Great job heading up online face of the tour. I’ve been to many shows and followed many tour websites, and most of them end up failing to even consistently update a blog. The live streaming and the little gimmicks that come with the live streaming have made this tour more than just a concert tour. An online community was built around the tour and countless more people were impacted… people who could not have been impacted had it not been for the online streaming.

Great work; we all can’t wait to see what you do next!

  7. Brody, I don’t think the words “thank you” are enough to express what an amazing blessing this has been. Hopefully, we have been able to provide some relief and enjoyment to you as well during all of this. Thanks for everything and with any luck I hope to say thanks personally during next year’s tour. In the meantime, as a SysAdmin if there is ever anything I can do for you don’t hesitate to holler; I’m always available!!

Be blessed my friend, and take some time tonight to just “soak it in”; you’ve definitely earned it.

Thanks for bringing the music and ministry to us. I wish I could be at the show tonight but it’s not to be. I know our paths will cross!

  9. I hope to be able to catch some of the show tonight. I have to sing at church from 6-7…be there at 5 for practice. I have no clue what time it starts, but if I’m home for any of it, I’ll see ya on there

Love the pic! I’ve been blessed to have watched every show online since it started and will be online tonight too. You have done an amazing job and I have enjoyed all of it. I’m glad you all will be going home to be with your families but will miss seeing the RAWRS.

I have one question, with the RAWRS ending tonight what will I do on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights?

  11. Rowan

Well done, Brody. RAWRS was definitely community building at it’s best. Can’t wait to see pics of the new ‘do!

The last day is sorta sad… I only made it to one show, but thanks to the online business, I took part in almost ten of them I think. I guess it’ll be good to have my productivity come back up…

    Anyways, good work.
