Something Else I Didn’t Know Existed
So check this out. Kristin’s dad knows a guy who owns a limo service. Turns out that this time of year this particular limo service (and maybe others, but I have never heard of it) does a Christmas light tour. Yeah, I know. I’d never heard of it, but it sounds kind of awesome. Well, because Kristin’s dad knows this guy, guess what we are doing tonight?
I’ve only been in a limo one time and that was when I spent all of my adolescent money on a non-dancing, Christian high school Homecoming dinner, but tonight we will all get ready and this limo is going to pick us all up for the evening. Kristin’s dad, my parents, us and the kids, will grab some pizza’s or snacks or something, and go check out some Christmas lights. Not bad huh? The kids (and my mom) are going to freak out.
I didn’t know this type of thing existed, but it’s pretty cool that it does. Who knew?
How many times have you been in a limo in your life?
Absolutely, Bro!! Your mom has never been in a limo. We have only seen one when our kids got into one. Cannot wait. You know me well. I’ll be right there with the kids!

I’ve never been in a limo in my life, and I’ve been to four proms (one was another school’s prom that we crashed), my own wedding, and in a friend’s wedding. Pretty amazing that out of all those functions, not one limo was involved. I guess my prom dates were really cheap guys.
Oh… we do that every year.

Once – well, twice I suppose. My boss thought it would be a special treat for us. We went to a conference in Vegas, so had a limo from the airport to the hotel, and then back to the airport.
woot woot … wasn’t all that. A ride in a long car. not impressed.
But to go do what YOUR’E planning – that would be cool.

The most recent was when we were in NY in January and had a few of us heading to the airport with lots of bags. We decided by the time we paid for a couple cars, we could have had a limo instead and ride together. It was awesome to see the NY skyline from the limo at sunset. I took a picture of it and every time it shows on my screen saver I smile.
Wow, Brody, you have to get out more!!! There are also small planes that do the same thing from above. Less computer monitor & more outdoor stuff! Maybe the camping thing is a GOOD idea. Have an awesome time. It’s hard to drive & look. You miss a lot of little details people do. The kids will be all a-glow.

I’ve only been in a limo twice, and both times were as a bridesmaid for a wedding…
Ryan and I are thinking about doing the Napa wine tour limo ride for our next anniversary.
Twice – but both were funerals so it wasn’t much fun (my dad and my grandfather). Neither prom, nor any of the weddings I have been in (including my own) included limo service.

I’ve been a limo a few times. Once for each of my parent’s funerals. Definitely no fun there. I just knew I wasn’t up to driving.
I was in a limo with Rick Springfield off and on for a day of autograph sessions, interviews and dinner with fans. I worked in radio right out of high school and this was one of the “perks.”
Our Grand Forks limo service does Christmas lights tours as well. We aren’t using the limo service, but when Scott returns from his 4 month deployment tomorrow (WHOOOOOO!!!!), we will be taking the kids on a lights tour.

What a fun adventure! I’ve been in a limo quite a few times…not too many I truly enjoyed. I always have to sit in the back facing forward or I get queasy. ha
Christmas lights viewing in a limo is certainly the way to travel I except.
