Why My Shirt Was Off In A Video Chat

Originally the title of this post was going to be something like this. ”Forty-Degree Golfing / Send Us Your Fridge Picture / I Had My Shirt Off As A Joke / Behold The Lamb Of God Tonight / SkörInc Broke The Internet Today” but for obvious reasons I just went with the one that seems most important to spread the word about.
Let me start by saying the chat last night at William’s church blog was awesome. Awesome until Carlos Twittered it and broke it. Kat was there, Michael Farren was there, and even the infamous Dr. Mark Lee showed up for a bit. Now, here’s the thing. I don’t know who the guy is in the top right of the screen above, but if you notice, he’s not wearing a shirt and appears to be in bed. Now, I’m all for connecting online, but I’m not so sure I want to be in bed with you. I don’t know the guy above and I don’t want him to hate me, but I do think it’s important that we are all clothed when we are chatting. My shirt came off as a joke, sort of pushing the absurd, if you will. I apologize to anyone I offended… or really even to anyone who saw me with my shirt off… but it was funny.
Now that we have that cleared up, yesterday my dad and father-in-law went golfing. Now if you are anywhere near Tennessee you know that it’s absolutely not golfing weather, but we braved it anyway. I think my toes are still a shade of purple that they shouldn’t be, but I had a great time and only lost one ball. Not bad for someone as bad as me.
Now here’s a fun thing for us all to get involved in. Remember when I said that we were going to set up a SkörInc Flickr account so we could do fun things? Well last night we announced that we wanted to see your fridge. Right now there are several refrigerators posted, but we still want to see more. Send your fridge picture to fridge@skorinc.com and if you want to see other people’s fridge head over to the Flickr Page we have set up. It’s not anything serious but it’s fun to see a community of fridges hanging out together.
Oh, yeah…. so SkörInc broke the internet…. and that sucks. Do you know why that sucks? Because when that happened we lost a lot of stuff. No good. You’ll notice that things are a little different on here for the next day or two while we sort things out and fix it all. And when I say ‘while we sort things out and fix it all’ I more mean ‘while Randy sorts things out and fixes it all’. Anyway, bear with us while all that takes place, and apologies to people that are mad about Fee’s tour page is broken or something. They are in the studio now anyway so you will have to deal with it.
Lastly, and I realize that this is the longest most pointless post ever but a lot has gone on in the past two days, Daniel Renstrom and his wife are headed into town tonight to stay with us and go to Andrew Peterson’s ‘Behold The Lamb Of God’ Christmas show tonight at the Ryman. This will be the forth time that Kristin and I have seen it, but this time we will have a group of folks with us who haven’t seen it so that will be cool. Bebo and Gabe will be there along with Andy Osenga so I know it’s going to be another great show. Anyone else going to that?
So that was yesterday in a nut-shell. Nothing says Christmas like a million random things to blog about right?

Brody, seriously you crack me up and you totally called out topless-in-bed-guy.
Say hey to Daniel for me. The Adore and Tremble CD as Lightvox Christmas gifts have had a great response. I would have sent you one but I am sure you have it.
Ha, that was fun! Everybody must be clothed and the dude (not you) did creep me out! Of course, you get this shot when FF crashed on me when the chat went psycho or you blacked me out! HA!
Man, I got so excited because I thought the “Behold” tour was going live tonight (not because of the shirt thing!) I had to go to bed before all that fun happened. Hopefully next week I will have time to figure out all these web games you’re playing and how to get all the pics out of my new camera. I hate being busy!!
Tell Bebo and Gabe that Sunny Side says “hey.” I have a great pic of my friend and Bebo from the show in Michigan City, Indiana. Enjoy your evening. I’m very jealous. I wish I could see “Behold” again.
I’ll be there, section 11, row C. Where are your seats?
I’ll be there! Yay! My first show at the Ryman AND my first BTLOG show. I’m so pumped.
That was seriously a lot of fun…til Los broke it. Haha!
Have fun tonight!
That explains it all! Glad you all had fun though!!
Wow. Looks like I left before all the craziness started.
That was really fun, though.
Sorry you broke the internet. Hopefully, it wasn’t my fridge picture that did it…
We’re heading to the “Behold The Lamb of God” concert tonight here in Indy. I’m looking forward to it! I’ve seen Andrew before in concert but this is my first time to the Christmas one. And getting to see Bebo, Jill Phillips and Andy Osenga is an added bonus!
Dang! The Mrs and I were there and missed you guys. We were in Section 2 row L. Great show. Bebo’s talk about Compassion International was compelling. Andy G. is seriously funny.
