Yeah, yeah I know it’s Positive Post Tuesday and all, but right now I want to talk about some Music You’ve Never Heard.  Today, it’s the ‘Bloggers Edition‘ for you folks out there and maybe later today we will get to PPT.

First up it’s two guys I have never met in person but have known about in the blog world for a long time.  Luke Mundy and Gene Pensiero have recorded a Christmas EP.  It’s good and it’s free.  It’s got sort of a ‘Jon Foreman solo EP’ feel, but cool Christmas songs and there’s really no reason you wouldn’t go download it now for free and check out some music you’ve never heard.

Next up is an album that my church recorded a few months back.  It comes out today and it’s pretty dang good.  My friend Chad was super involved in it and I had several friends play on it, so it’s cool to hear.  You can listen to a couple of the songs here and you can buy it here.  From what I understand this is going to be an ongoing thing for the church.  There are tons of pretty talented folks in the church and they are all coming together to make some pretty great worship stuff.

So there it is folks.  Some December Music You’ve Never Heard.  Nine days til Christmas.  What are you listening to this week?

    I grabbed Mundy's EP a couple days ago, nice…
The TPC recording is great! I need to pick that up. Sounds like there's some great worship material on there!

I just discovered Joel Rakes and I'm loving his music. He has a great EP and a couple free Christmas albums.

And even though it's been out awhile, I'm just now really listening to (and loving) Phil Wickham's Singalong.

There's so much good music, I've not been listening to Christmas music as music as I usually do this time of year!

The TPC album sounds sweet! Did you make a cameo appearance? Or wait… let me guess… you are creating a blog for it at this very moment… haha

Downloaded Mundy's album. I'll give it a listen.
I'm finally getting into some Christmas music this week! I try not to start listening to it too early, otherwise I get sick of it before Christmas is actually here.

    I've got a PPT post, too: http://lindseylearns.wordpress.com/2008/12/16/pos... :)

My church's worship team, that I sing in, made a Christmas album!
I'll probably be listening to that a lot. Haha. But my favorite Christmas music is mostly on this album called Happy Christmas V4. Copeland, The Fold, Switchfoot…good stuff. This Holiday Life recorded a sweet version of Angels We Have Heard On High. And Tree63 has a cool version of What Child Is This?

Such a silly question for me to answer! Third Day's Christmas Offering & the practice CD for our Christmas Eve Choir. The latter is not very exciting!
