Stats Suck Sunday - Again

  • Today’s a mad dash to get the house ready for my parents to get here tomorrow.  Then, let the Christmas madness begin.
  • I forgot that it was still football season, but have found myself completely wrapped up in the Titans game.
  • I’m wishing more and more everyday that I hadn’t left my jacket on MercyMe’s bus which is currently in Dallas.
  • It’s been a week of ups and downs but looking back there was more good than bad.  That’s the stuff I need to focus on.
  • I don’t think my feet have been warm in three days.
  • Last night we rented The Departed and Kristin fell asleep before I even pushed play.  I thought it was a great movie.  Violent but a really cool concept.
  • Titans lost.
  • Someone called me a ‘Stat-Ho’ this week and it made me laugh.  I even have a post ready about that but I will wait till later in the week.
  • I think someone snuck my six-year-old way, way too much sugar.  I’m going to find that person and punish them.
  • One of SkörInc’s artists, Dan Evans, will be on NBC’s The Biggest Loser this week on the Live Finale Tuesday night.  Make sure to check it out.
  • The other day I realized that one meal at Taco Bell can possibly contain an entire day’s calorie allowance for an adult male.
  • What I learned about Taco Bell sort of grossed me out.

Well, there it is folks.  My randomness for the day.  Not horribly interesting but it’s okay because my stats will suck today, but maybe that makes me a ’stat-ho’.  All of your stats will suck today too and for that I apologize.  But at least we are all in it together right?

What’s on your mind?

What's on my mind? Trying to figure out how my ministry might be sending mixed messages after a random trip to Sam's Club… explanation on my blog.

    Hey Brody!

I posted a blog entry called "Write It Down and Make It Clear" earlier today. It's all about the search for hope many people find themselves on these days.

    Enjoy!

My first stats sucks Sunday. I've got two videos up. Brody, you might be interested in the one from Saturday about hotdogs. I think it might fit well with your taco bell experience. :)

    1. mad dash to get Christmas presents for grandkids ready to mail on Monday.
    2. mad dash to find a job (nothing cooking)
    3. Pittsburgh playing in Baltimore & it's only 3-3 towards the end of the 1st half.
    4. Have no idea what's for dinner
    5. Temp at 12:20 was 65. Temp at 1:30 was 36! Yikes. North wind at 30 to 40 mph. Snow in forecast next 3 days.
    6. Love listening to Straight No Chaser. Their harmony is ridiculous. Their songs amazing. Want their Christmas CD.
    7. Christmas is 11 days away!

Intense Debate allows your name to link to your blog now. It didn't used to but I think it does now. I'm still not sure I am sold on it though. It's a bit of a pain.

Previously, when having commented while signed in to Intesne Debate, I've clicked on my name, and it took me to my IntenseDebate profile. Today I tested by clicking on portorikan which takes me to http://www.intensedebate.com/people/(as would CoffeeWithChris)

Maybe there's a setting at IntenseDebate that will redirect to your blog, but yeah, I'm with you, it's a bit of a pain. I'm not using it.:-) Besides, I don't like the sense of competition it stirs in me, that i have to have as many comments as someone else. :-)

Wow, ok, I've been inspired to go post my randomness of the weekend …

(and I'm not signing in with the intenseDebate … I like my name linking to my blog)

I like it. I'm trying to get my friend to get it on his blog. I think it's gonna be the 'wave of the future' for blog comments. :)

If you leave comments though with one email address, but use another for your blog or other emails, you need to pre-plan and think it through a little, otherwise, it should be pretty straightforward.

The Departed is good. Wifey and I are watching The Aviator today… I like the Scorcese/DiCapprio team!
