Stats Suck Sunday – The Last Day

Well, today it’s the last day of the tour.  We are in Montgomery, Alabama setting up for the show tonight in between football games and checking Fantasy scores.

The end of a tour is always a weird thing.  Everyone is ready to be home, see their families and be off the road, but the idea of not hanging out with the people you have lived with for the last 2 months is kind of sad.  It’s obvious that’s it’s been an amazing tour and the MercyMe guys are always amazing to work with and I hope to have a chance to do it again.

Other than wrapping up the tour we aren’t doing much today, except Wes, the Production Manager just accidentally dumped a two-liter bottle of Diet Dr. Pepper over on the floor of this really nice church green room.  I’m glad I didn’t just do that.  It seems like something I would do.

Anyway, this has been my installment of Stats Suck Sunday because my stats will suck today, and so will yours.

Let’s hear it.  What’s on your mind?

  1. Bart looks like he could cry, and that makes me want to cry too. I get what you're saying. Tonight's show is going to be awesome, but sad. We're all going to miss "seeing" you guys 4 nights a week, but we are glad for you to be with your families again. Especially through the holidays. You rocked this tour for us Brody, how can we ever thank you and MM enough for that? Some homemade caramel corn maybe?

  2. Mrs. Paisley

I haven't got to see much of the games today and I am doing terribly this year on my fantasy football. I'm ranked 9 out of 10 which is pitiful when last year I came in at 2nd place.

It is sad to see the tour end but I know you all are ready to be home with your families for the holiday's. I hope you get to work with them again as well. We have enjoyed chatting with you online during the concerts.

Take care and I hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

  3. Bart does look like he's going to cry, or like he smelled something bad.

I'm sure it's weird to be done now that you are in a routine…. and kicking butt in football.

I'll be glad to have you around though!

  4. Glad to hear everyone will be home with their families.

  5. Oh and have a Happy Thanksgiving!

  6. I'm from Montgomery. Just thought i'd add that nugget of useless knowledge for you.
