Stats Suck Sunday – In Bullet Points
- Today was another late morning day. On Sundays we have to wait until folks get out of church to move in and rearrange their sanctuary, so we have made “brunch at Cracker Barrel” a weekly tradition. Luckily weigh in day is on Fridays.
- We are in Hagerstown, Maryland today. I looks like a pretty cool little town, but I have no idea. I just stumbled off the bus, so all I’ve really seen is the parking lot of a church.
- My Fantasy Football team is projected to loose by about forty points today. Not looking good there.
- I seriously could eat pineapple every day.
- Kristin sent me an email this morning and I can’t stop thinking about it and laughing. She may be using it for her blog but I wanted to seal it. This is what it said.
When we got home from Blue’s basketball practice last night Aiden went inside first. When we got in there, we couldn’t find him anywhere. I called and called, and finally he popped up from behind the chair with a candy bar, and said, “I accidentally ate this treat…on accident….”
- I’ve been trying to watch Iron Man this entire run. Bart brought it out, but I haven’t had time.
- We did go bowling until after three in the morning last night, so maybe that’s why I haven’t had time to watch Iron Man.
- I’m no good at bowling. The first game I got a 94 and the second game I got a 119. I don’t think I beat many people.
- One more night and I will be home for a few days. Can’t wait to see Kristin and the boys.
Welcome to Stats Suck Sunday. If you are just joining us this is the day where no one really reads anything, so it’s a day to post random thoughts or even Michael Bolton videos. These are a few things floating around in my brain today… in case you were wondering. See how I did that? Pulled in the title of this here blog. This post does nothing more than prove that I need more sleep.
What’s on your mind today?

thanks for the link. you can never go wrong while making fun of michael bolton.
Enjoyed the rant. I’m wondering when the next cold front is sweeping through Florida. I’ll give $20 to the person that can make that happen within 48 hours. I’m also wondering how to come up with an extra $425.00 in the next 5 days. I really need a miracle. Really. That’s what’s on my mind. Yeah, so that wasn’t exactly funny, but it’s transparent. Word.
Randomness for today … my son (21yrs) came over and made us Eggs Benedict for breakfast. At 1pm. Ok, so it was lunch, but it was breakfast cause I hadn’t eaten yet.
Hmmm, pour moi, I am actually at the library. I do have some assignments due but then and as always, I am most certainly looking forward to service tonight…Lord willing I will get these assignments done so that I could stay for Afterglow service which entails service and prayer afterwards…Lord willing–Frankly, may His will be done!
Oh, by the way, as I was about to leave home earlier today, I noticed the mess on my car. Well, thanks to God who knows all, for it rained within minutes believe it or not! The only fascinating fact was I did not have an umbrella. I ran into a Ralphs to buy one but they ran out…Hmmm, so as fun as I hope it sounds as it made me laugh (singing in the rain, etc) for I ran out of the store with the cart containing poptart, paper towel, and a toilet tissue paper which I used to attempt to cover my head for you see, I was on my way back to church–I ended up not deeming the hair cover necessary since it’s been a long time since I choose to just run in the rain. The ladies at the store thought I was crazy and a man simply said, “ay-ay-ay.” Oh wells, praise God for that brief moment of enjoying His creation for before I knew it, the sun came out!
Okie dokie, that’s my random thought for now—I better switch gears to working on those assignments–yes, you may pray for me…and Happy Sunday everyone!
on my mind…
just, finally, started a flickr acct. dang. it is time consuming. i have a nervous twitch now!
I love that you post every day! That’s awesome. What’s on my mind? I’m mad at myself for lazing around all weekend and now it’s Sunday night and I’m frantically trying to get my lesson plans done, laundry, and stuff ready for school this week. Oh, and I’m totally avoiding it by checking my blogs!!
I once got beat at bowling by a 7 year old. We both had bumpers…I bowled a 65 and she bowled a 78. Next time I’m in Nashville, I’ll take you bowling, just for a bowlers-ego boost. You’re Welcome.
