PPT : Adoption Madness
Want to know where you can spend $60 and help drastically change the course of eleven lives? Yeah, eleven.
First off my next door neighbors, Brian and Amy Seay are hosting an ‘UnRaffle’ with a pretty intense prize. Here are the details:
UNTICKETS: You will receive 1 UNTICKET for every $25 you donate. There is no limit to how many UNTICKETS you can have in the drawing.
PRIZE: The prize for the UNRAFFLE is a 7 day/night resort stay at your choice of hundreds of locations. We have 2 of these prizes so that means two different people will walk away winners.
Not too bad eh? And here’s the thing. If you win, it’s a pretty awesome prize, but what’s cool is that the more money raised, the easier it is for Brian and Amy to bring two kids into their home for a completely new life. I know it’s been a long, tiring process for the Seay’s and it’s awesome to see all of this moving forward so well. So there’s the deal. Go to Brian’s blog or Amy’s blog to enter yourself in the ‘UnRaffle’ and change the lives of all eight Seays.
The second opportunity to change some lives is with my friend Bush. Bush has blown me away with his photography for over a year or so now. Now we all have a chance to bring some of that photography home. Bush and his wife Maris are also adopting, and raising money to bring their little boy home. Bush is currently selling prints of his photography on his blog to raise the last little bit of money needed. He writes:
God has graciously provided almost all of the money via people like yourselves. However, we are still about 1/3 short of the money needed. That comes out to be about $4,000.00. I have picked out 12 of my favorite photos in order to try and sell them to help raise the remainder of this money. These prints will be 8×10, and they will cost $35.00. This price includes shipping. If i can sell 140 prints…we’d have the rest of the money!
There it is. The opportunity to change three lives for thirty-five bucks. Bush and Maris have also been working long and hard at this process and it’s amazing to see how close they are. Getting them over this last hurdle would be a great gift to them.
There it is folks. Positive Post Tuesday today is full of opportunity to change lives. This whole thing started with the idea of building people up. What better way to build someone up than to encourage these two families in their journey to change the lives of children in need of a home? Let’s spread the word and see if we can blow these goals out of the water.
Happy Tuesday. What’cha got?

Hey Brody!
Just left my post for your Positive Post Tuesday!
Dr. Rus
Numero Uno. I love seeing people be creative about adoption. A friend of mine recorded an instrumental album to sponsor the adoption of a little girl from China.
What a great post, Brody.
