Positive Post Tuesday
I just got back from walking Blue to the bus and my feet are still cold. I think Fall is on it’s way. Last night we went to Kristin’s dads for dinner and the light outside at sunset looked exactly like October.
Winter is really my favorite time of year, but I love the couple months that lead up to it. I love that I can pull the sweatshirts back out. I love that it’s a little uncomfortable to not be wearing shoes again, and I love the feeling of fresh cold air.
Today’s Positive Post Tuesday isn’t about a person. It’s about the awesome weather that has blown into our area for the past few days. Our prayers are still with those affected by the hurricanes, but out here we are grateful.
What’s your favorite time of year?
Happy Tuesday. You know what to do.

The first week of August in Gravenhurst, Ontario. I know it’s not a “season” but the weather there during that week was always perfect. Chilly enough in the mornings to start a fire in the wood stove and warm up your clothes before going to the lodge for breakfast. Then sunny and warm enough later in the day to swim and fish in the lake or go into town and check out all the great little shops. And cool in the evenings, just enough to put on a sweater and enjoy the evening playing cards, games and hanging out with friends.
Winter turning into Spring. I’m a good ole Southern boy that doesn’t deal well with the cold. So as soon as we break into the season of warmer weather, I’m real happy.
That and we open the pools in late April around here.
I have favorite parts of every season, so it’s hard to choose…but I am quite fond of the fall weather and the smell of autumn in the air. I’m also in love with the ambiance of Christmas time. Christmas lights and (tasteful) decorations
around town are some of my favorite things. I also love it because it’s a time when family comes together.
It’s good to be back on the Positive Post Tuesday bandwagon! Hooray!
From here to thanksgiving is my absolute, hands-down favorite time of the year. Could be because my birthday is on Halloween, but I’m thinking all the reasons you mentioned are reasons as well.
Nashville is exceptionally beautiful this time of year. However, Central Park ain’t to shabby either. In fact, what the heck am I doing in front of this computer…
We just spent a week up at our cabin (my positive post last week was late, and was the beauty of the trip).
I love aspects about each season. I love Spring, when the days start getting longer and longer. Summer of course, I don’t wear shoes (having a job where I don’t have too is GREAT!) and I ride my bike to work and go rock climbing outside. I enjoy how the crisp Fall air is invigorating, but I don’t like how early it gets dark, and how long it takes for it to get light in the morning. Winters aren’t terribly long in Reno so much. It’s always a rush to cram in as much skiing as I possibly can. But then by the time the snow is rotting, the days are longer and it’s Spring again and the cycle starts over!

Fall is my favorite time of year in Oregon for sure. Still lots of sunshine, not much rain. Cold mornings, pleasant afternoons, lots of colors.

I fancy most all times (for all moments are to be treasured) just not too cold neither too hot, but nothing compares to autumn and let’s not forget the wonderful days of overcast with sprinkles of rain on our roofs making sweet melodies of splendors!! By the way, nice picture, Brody!
This is the best time of the year. Fall flowing into winter. I can’t wait for that to start hear in Nor. California.
Miami doesn’t have a fall.
I love fall and winter..just like Bro. I am jealous that leaves are changing somewhere..thet will here, but not yet. I love cuddling in warm sweaters and feeling the cold fresh air outside. It is so refreshing and happy for me…
Cannot wait to blog with pictures of our leaves.
Love you, Mom
