My New Samoan Friends

So, this morning Randy and I met with these guys to talk about blog stuff, family, music and Fantasy Football.  Mostly we talked about blog stuff and the option of possibly doing some stuff with them down the road, but there was some non-work conversation mixed in.

To be honest I haven’t heard a ton of The Katina’s music but I have heard of them as a group for years and I’m excited about the idea of working with them.  Not to mention sitting down with the guys for a couple hours this morning I can say that they really seem like good guys that love their families, love what they do for a living, and love their fans.  Those are the kind of people I get excited to work with.

Any Katina fans out there?  If not, you’re going to be.

I have been a fan for years and a few years ago we saw them live at the MWSS/POG CHristmas show in Atlanta.

They have got a great sound!

  4. i love the Katina’s! i’ve been a fan for years as well. i only have one tape… yes… tape… haha…. of theirs from a long time ago. but i really like them! i listen to too many other artists nowadays. so, i haven’t listened to too much Katina’s in a long time. time to go find that tape! haha. or upgrade to a cd soon. haha.

  5. Count me in! In fact, they performed at Anaheim, CA Harvest Crusade with Pastor Greg Laurie last month!! It is great to worship our Lord and King with them, so Lord I pray they’ll continue to be used for your glory as You will, Brody and Randy included! Amen.

Oh my gosh! I love them! Didn’t we take you to see them a million years ago at Calvary Grass Valley? We bought their first album! I totally think it was while you were in High School! I think it was you, Randy and Erin who went to a music fest with us at Bear River High School and it was put on by Calvary at LOP. They were great then and I can’t wait to hear what they are doing now!

  7. I’m with Amy. The first time I saw them was during the same tour, but in DC. They are oh so talented!
