Positive Post Tuesday
Aside from youth group when I was younger I haven’t ever really been involved in a Bible Study, or home group or small group or whatever you want to call it. It’s not that I haven’t wanted to, I just have always been too busy or forget to go or something. Well, as I have mentioned before we are doing this series at church and last night was the last week of the series. What’s cool about the group that we have been with is that they want to keep the group going and find something else to study.
I was talking to Kristin the other day and told her that it was weird but I was actually excited to go to our group on Monday nights. They are the most laid back, relaxed, comfortable people and it’s awesome to hang out with a group of people that are so willing to share, and non-judgmental when you share. I know that’s what the Bible talks about when it’s talking about “fellowship” and it’s cool to have that on a weekly basis.
Now here’s the deal. Positive Post Tuesday has slipped a little bit. There was a time where we had over thirty entries. Thirty people saying nice things across the interweb-net. That number has gone down. Now, don’t get me wrong, I know that it’s hard to come up with something week after week, but back when this thing started the point was to encourage one another like the Bible tells us to do. So let’s make this week as big as we can.
And on a quick side note: There was a question last night that I figured instead of making a new post for, I would piggy-back the question to this post since it was from the group. So here’s my question for today.
What is one thing that you have always wanted to do but never gotten around to doing?
I’ve, for some reason, always wanted to ride a bike across the country. Coast to coast. I know a lot of people have done it, but I still want to. In fact, I have a friend who just finished riding from Florida to California by himself. The idea of seeing “small town” America all the way across is really appealing to me.
What about you? What’s something you have always wanted to do, but just haven’t gotten around to?
Welcome to Tuesday. Ready? Go.

Happy PPT!
hey i like the picture of the couch…we own that one!
I have always wanted to rollerblade in San Fransisco….but just that one hill that they filmed Full House on.
That, and I’d love to make the perfect chocolate chip cookie. They always seem to burn…haha
I really want to see Vermont in the Fall.

i’ve always wanted to take a long flight first class.
selfish and lame, i know. but there it is.
Great post. I love our family group! It’s the best thing we do all week, including church.
I would like to go on a mission trip.

Awesome post, Brody!
I would like to be able to converse in French. As the Lord wills, we shall see!
I’d like to teach the world to sing, a perfect harmony. I’d like to buy the world a Coke and keep it… comp..any?
Can’t remember that last part.
I’d like to direct a motion picture based upon my book.
That would be awesome. Or, I’d like to watch the Cohen Brothers direct a film based upon my book. Either one would do just fine.
I’m a few days late, but my Positive Post explains why!
And I am looking forward to joining a bible study group on Wednesday nights. Broadening my horizons a bit.
