I’m not entirely sure how I came across this blog and I literally know nothing about these people except that they are “twenty somethings with a baby”, but that’s because they told the world that. They aren’t even paying me unbelievable amounts of money to say this, but The Avila Family Blog is easily one of my favorite blogs to read. There are tons of blogs that I subscribe to and check regularly, but this one is one where I am excited when it pops up in the reader because there is something new, and it’s not because they are clearly better dressers than I am.
Seriously, check out The Avila Family Blog and say hi. Here’s a quick excerpt from the most recent post, that will make absolutely no sense unless you read the whole thing but I think it’s funny.
The Paso Robles Mid State Fair is kind of like a bad dream, because everyone looks like a Carnie, not just the people working the booths. Gotta love Paso. (Disclaimer: If I offended you with that last statement, I apologize….unless you have small hands and smell like cabbage).
So there it is. Go now and subscribe to their blog. And if you tell them that I sent you maybe they will give you something awesome. Or maybe they won’t, who knows.

OK, I’d be stupid if I didn’t name my own blog first, LOL. I host the Gospel SoundCheck blog at Beliefnet.com, where I blog about Christian music:

But one of my other favorite blogs is Kelsey Timmerman’s “Where Am I Wearing?”
http://www.whereamiwearing.com/
Kelsey did this really cool thing: he went to visit the places where his clothes were made. Cambodia, China, Honduras, and the plant in Perry, NY where they make official NFL jerseys. It’s humor, social consciousness and just plain fun.

Of course I love reading my husband’s posts … http://dalebest.blogspot.com
But in addition to that, I love reading about international adoptions and stories of familes adopting from Ethiopia or Sierra Leone imparticular. And one blog that caught my eye is
http://jodyrlanders.com/ . They adopted 2 beautiful African babies into their home and she blogs tons of pictures. I love it when I see another post from her on my Reader!
My buddy Ross Gale (http://rossgale.com) has an awesome blog. He is such a better writer than me it isn’t even funny.
Sorry this url for Ross is http://rcgale.com
My bad!
My favorite part of that post is when he’s describing pulling loose that bar in their friends’ car. Cracked me up!
Dear Lord! I feel like I got pulled up on stage at a Hannah Montana concert. I am freaking out right now! We made Brody’s blog.
It’s strange when you are reading someone’s blog and they are reading yours, and neither of you have any idea. I’ve been reading Brody’s blog for a long time now…Kristin’s as well. And they are always entertaining. So Brody, I think I can formally say…It’s nice to meet you.
oh…and the check is in the mail.
favorite blog… ggg, that’s a hard decision. Can it be a 3-way tie?
