Facing your bed do you sleep on the left or the right? I’m on the right.
Left….Steven on the right
As I wrote the below post, I thought how people might interpret that I needed to put that my husband sleeps on the right…..ha! I hope that would be the assumption
I sleep on the right. Also ask people if they sleep on their side, left or right, or their back or their stomach.
And while you’re at it (smile) ask them to give me some advice on how I can TRAIN myself to sleep on my back. I just can’t get comfortable that way, thus, I have saggy jowls from sleeping on my face! Oh my goodness, I have such problems, don’t I????? Sorry . . . I don’t have my own blog and don’t have an interesting enough life to create one. Oh boo hoo, there I go again . . .
I’m on the right. It’s the farthest away from the door.
…should there be an intruder.
…or small children who wander in during the night.
right
Right smack in the middle, but I usually lay on my side facing the wall, no matter which direction the bed is orientated. (Does that make sense? So if the left side my bed is up against the wall, I lay facing left, but if the right side is up against the wall, I face right. Weird, I know.)
Right.
right side - fall asleep on my side/stomach, wake up sunny side up. We tried switching sides a few weeks ago - it was a disaster. I don’t think we lasted more than an hour.
Right. My wife gets the side closer to the bathroom.
im on the right
Left
I sleep on the right, hubby Scott on the left. It’s been this way for the last 16 years. The first 4 years we were married, we were the opposite. We switched upon moving to Hawaii. I was pregnant with our second child and needed to be those extra few steps closer to the bathroom! We never switched back. When visiting his parents, we switch. The bed we use there is a double (we have a queen at home) and I sleep next to the wall so he doesn’t push me out of the bed! I’m typically a side sleeper (usually left). Scott sleeps on his back which drives me nuts because he’s been known to suck the plaster off the ceiling with his snoring! He can snore on his stomach too though. I hate long deployments to the desert except for me being able to sleep better.
Beth
right; unless you move the bed across the room and in which case it would be the left. For some reason hubby started this strange arrangement. hmmmmm…..
da right
I start on the right. But somehow I always end up on the left.
Left!!!! Always left!!
I’m on the left, hubby on the right
I sleep on the left. I have a nice “form fitting” spot going there. It’s kinda nice.
I’m on the left. My wife is the right.
Left, or closest to the door when we are away from home.
Head on the right, legs on the left..I pretty much sleep diagonally across the bed.LOL
to the left to the left…
I’m a lefty. Ryan’s one the right.
I’m all over the place. Although its been while since i woke up backwards in the bed.
I sleep all the way on the left despite the fact that I have a big queen-sized bed with no one else in it. I’m just comfortable laying in the middle, for some reason!
Left, always have been. Matt has always slept on the side closest to the door and that always seems to be the right.
I start out on the left, end up in the middle. But thats okay b/c I have the bed all to myself.
Currently on the right with books/journal on the left.
Left. Wife Annette (adamantly) on the right. In fact, I’m not even allowed to sleep on the right side in hotels with her. The right side is her side. Period.
Diagonally across the entire bed. I consider it one of the greater joys of being single.
it changes depending on the room, so far I have not found a rhyme or reason, just one side seems wrong and the other seems right. i am that way in restaurants as well. One seat just seems to be calling my name…”sit here, the other side is stupid.”
– right
left
– ps - phish makes me want to die inside.
On the right, on my stomach, all night long. Unless we’re visiting my husband’s grandmother, in which case he refuses to sleep by the wall, which is on the left. I don’t sleep much there anyway because I stay up most of the night talking with her.
definitely the right and face the right. my wife is on the left and faces the left so we pretty much sleep facing opposite each other..
I’m right. In and out of the bed.
Left…closest to the bathroom…
I get the whole bed to myself… there’s no telling where I’ll end up!
left, which is convenient because Los is a right and we had to share a hotel bed recently. shhh
im like CJ…left. closest to the bathroom. but if we changed our room around and the right side was closer to the bathroom…id convince brent, somehow , to let me sleep on the right side! so basically, i own the bed!
right…she’s on the left
on the left. it was different the first two years of marriage. not sure why we switched…
it depends on where we land…whoever gets to bed first gets the right (wall side) the last one in gets the left (and is in charge of setting the alarm and getting the lights)
right side - have changed sides with my husband once in our eighteen years of marriage. After our first child I switched sides. that was 14 years ago. weird. Just in case you were wondering
Left. I love that song..
Fascinating! Every woman in my family that I know of sleeps on the left and the man sleeps on the right. I don’t know why. Love your blog by the way, found you via inworship.
on the left.
