I know what you mean about the old songs, but I didn’t notice it until my kids were teens. (We’d always listened to nothing but Christian music before that.) I’d put on the classic rock station and a good old song would come on. I’d turn it up and say, “Oh! This is a good song” hoping to better my teens’ education on what is good music. I’d start singing away, and suddenly realize what the song was saying. “Oops! Yeah, maybe you don’t need to hear this song.”
