Tonight I’m flying to Canton, Ohio tonight to meet up with Mr. Wickham and his band of merry men to watch them play some music. They are playing with a whole bunch of other people tomorrow in the hot summer heat of Ohio. Phil and I have lots of stuff to talk about and it should be pretty fun to catch up and see him with a band again. I think the Crowder boys will be there too so it will be like a big ol’ reunion.
Anyone from the area reading this? If so I will be hanging out at some point near Phil’s merch table. Come say hi. I’ll be the guy dressed in long pants and a sweatshirt. You got any festival plans this year?

I WISH I had festival plans this year. My back surgery has me outta commission for most of the summer, unfortunately.
I am going to see Wilco in August, though, and I can’t wait for that!!

Have fun at Alive Brody! I will tell Marc you said hi. I might head up to Kings Island, OH for Spirit Song to work for Shane at Premier for the weekend. I’ve been working on getting more involved with Premier but I have to be in Memphis on the 12/13th for a tour date so we will see. Sadly, I am missing my favorite festival of all time SoulFest this year but I will be there next year no matter what when Black Rebel Motorcylce Club makes their “Christian” festival debut.
dude, if you have time, would you ask him what kind of pickup he has on his J45AJ? I saw him play in a while back, and thought it sounded amazing….gibson doesn’t put the element in them anymore.
