Thanks to this guy, I am addicted to this record right now. I’m not sure how I haven’t heard of Katie Herzig before but we just got her album the other day and it’s pretty amazing. So if you are like me and haven’t heard listened to Katie Herzig, you need to. Turns out this album just came out a few weeks ago, so if you don’t have it there’s your music recommendation for the week.

It’s magical.
I LOVE her! She used to play with Newcomers Home here in CO … they were one of my favorite bands to see live. I’m sad they’re not together anymore but so excited her stuff is getting heard.

I’ve been streaming samples of Coldplay’s new album all week and I’m addicted to their new song “Lost!”. I also have bee listening to a lot of Keane lately. Katie Herzig is awesome, I’ve known about her for awhile because she always performs with friends here in Nashville.
Never heard of her, but would like too. The album cover is amazing.

My sharing includes a very young band that our friend Carol (also on Where’s My Damn Answer) found for us.
They are called Back Door Slam (http:www.backdoorslam.com/ – they are all three from Isle of Man and they have a contemporary blues rock sound. After Carol wrote about them (http://www.wheresmydamnanswer.com/WP02/?p=146), I decided to buy their album – we became FAST fans of these guys.
You won’t believe the sound of the voice that comes out of their young lead singer.
