Most people don’t realize just how gorgeous Lake Michigan is, especially in the summer. It feels like it goes on forever (I think the coastline is 200+ miles). Where I grew up, it was a good 80 miles across to Wisconsin. It is one of my absolute favorite places in the world.
Thanks for bringing back good memories of going to Lakeside as a child. I even got poison ivy on the way down to the lake, once, but loved it there. By the way, thanks for all of your work for us S.L.O.B.’s (Mercy Me band fans) tonight.
I always think Lake Michigan is nestled in frigid mountains, covered by a dense fog. This is beautiful!
