the makers of Prince Caspian kept to the original story surprisingly well, all thinks considered… i heard they were going to make it into a silly pure-action flick, but thankfully this was not the case

My sons saw the movie and loved it. I read the books. I saw the cheesy, Christian video (VHS) version of the books. I’m sure this is far better than my vague memories. I think I’m going to wait for it to come out on DVD and watch it back to back with Narnia. P.S. I agree with you on the Happy Memorial Day deal…just doesn’t fit with the theme/tone/reason for the day off.

Prince Caspian doesn’t come out for another couple of weeks here. We were going to see Indiana Jones last night after Elevate (young adults), but we all went home instead
Tuesday is the best day to see a movie here, as it’s only $8.50 instead of $15. Tuesdays are affectionately known around here as ‘tight-’bottom’ tuesdays’ - the last day before most people’s pay-day. A cafe we frequent also has half-price deals on tuesdays
