It’s no secret that everyone’s blog stats suck on Sunday. It’s not a bad thing, just something that happens. People aren’t at work looking for something to pass the time. People are at church or out with their families, and don’t have time for blogs. Because of that I try not to exasperate too much energy on the Sunday morning post. Allow me to introduce “Stats Suck Sunday”. A day where I will throw onto my blog the first thing that I think of with the anticipation of getting little to no response. Enjoy.
This is older, but still one of the best covers out there. What’s your favorite cover song?

Stats Suck Sunday — I could see that catching on….

…Such an amazing cover…his cover of the Postal Service’s “Such Great Heights” is also phenomenal.
I would say one of my favorite covers is Gary Jules covering Tears for Fears’ “Mad World”. Despite the fact that it is just utterly depressing, it is a fantastic cover.
And yes, stats do suck on Sunday…hehe…good observation.
very cool. I just started doing “My Sunday Select” for Sundays. Check it out…
Off the top of my head, my fav cover would be Dave Matthews doing “All Along the Watchtower”
You beat me to it (best cover, not sucky Sunday stats) - this cover is amazing
Ben Folds is quite the genius. Did you ever read the interview with him in Relevant?
I’ll admit it…I’ve been blown away by David Cooks covers lately. And I’m excited that he won American Idol.
I also really liked Phil’s quick little rendition of “Hallelujah.” He should really record that.
Wednesday is my frantic, check out blogs & comment on them day. Most Sundays I don’t post anything…my favorite cover tune - hate to admit that I really like Beatlemania when it comes to town - usually at Casino Arizona - always a super fun night with friends!
I think I would say any David Cook cover is my favorite. And yeah stats do suck on Sunday. And it’s my birthday today! Psh.
Maybe it’s because I didn’t change my sidebar birthday countdown thing so people think my birthday is tomorrow. Haha.
Actually in two days…
[...] don’t care but I find it funny how my birthday was a very slow day for my blog. I guess that’s just how Sundays are. I will probably edit this blog post tomorrow and write about what I did for my birthday and stuff [...]
This ties with Copeland’s “She’s Always A Woman” for my favorite cover.
how about john mayers cover of free fallin
[...] HT: Brody [...]
Great choice Brody. Last summer I saw Jars of Clay cover “Don’t Change” by INXS at a concert and I was blown away. Also, earlier this year I saw Caedmon’s Call cover “In God’s Country” by U2 at a concert and I loved it.
