It’s A Number Four Guard
Now, I don’t claim to be able to answer all the questions on the show LOST. I don’t even claim to remember all the things that could raise questions on the show LOST. Tonight Kristin and I almost finished Season Three. We have one more episode and then apparently there is an “enhanced” version of the Season Three finale.
So far lots of people have died, some have “switched teams”, others have almost died and not many questions are answered. However there is one question that I have that I’m not sure will ever be answered and that is this. Who’s cutting Jack’s hair all this time? I shaved my head a few weeks ago because I was tired of dealing with having hair. That was only a few weeks ago, and already I am finding myself in a situation where I need to decide whether to cut it again, or start the whole “growing out” process again. Jack just seems to have that perfectly shaved head the entire time.
Now, I know what you are saying. ”Well Brody, what about everyone else on the island? Their hair doesn’t look like it’s growing either. What do you say about that?” And to that I would say, “Well they have scissors, but they don’t have clippers, now do they?”. There’s no possible way that Jack could get his hair like that without using clippers with a number four guard and I’m not seeing that in the bonus features. Sure, razors for the bald fella. I’ll give you that. Scissors for everyone else. But not Jack. There’s no way.
So these are the things that keep me up late on a Sunday night. You?

As to what is keeping me up late on a Saturday night, that would be having coffee/hot chocolate with a friend and then thinking about I would have totally married Apostle Paul if he would have taken me as his wife. I even wrote a post about it. ^_^ I hope you sleeping well by now!
More important than Jack’s hair, how come Hurley isn’t down to 175. Dude’s been on an island for 4 months.
Lost is a great show, but they need to move things on a bit more quickly I think. Very creative and interesting though. Refreshing in light of all the mind numbing dumbness that are most shows.

But hey, they are on an island that has magic bears and stuff and no direct sunlight. Maybe its a paradise lost thing.
Also, I think I could get my hair that short with some scissors. Don’t you remember though? When he dies in season 4, they make a comment about his trimmed hair. Kinda funny.

He totally shaves his head with a razor like Locke and then it grows out to this perfect length shown here.
We just don’t see him bald. He’s bald on the days when nothing cool is happening on the island. In fact, whenever Jack totally shaves his head, nothing scary or preposterous ever happens. His hair is linked to the island’s activity.
Or maybe it’s the no. 4.
Remember…..they have everything they need for a quick haircut from the plane wreckage and the Dharma stuff, right???

I’m not a guy… so I wouldn’t know …
but wouldn’t you need a trimmer to keep it looking like that?
season three’s finale is when they all discover the secret underground Supercuts that Jack’s been hiding.

Thank you, Travis Thompson! My thoughts exactly! Chubby dude doesn’t seem to have lost a single pound. I gave up on this show a long time ago once it stopped being halfway believable, but in every promo I see, there’s still good ‘ol Hurley with the same amount of man-sulation he’s had all along…
I miss Charlie… that was sad….
Hey, did you notice that in the flashbacks, Jack has longer hair? …but on the island it doesn’t grow… must be his special island power…
John Lock, heals miraculously, Desmond becomes Psychic, and Jack can maintain the perfect buzz/ stubble combination.
Charlie was too possessive of Claire and it always got on my nerves. It was still sad that he died, though.
Aaaargh!!!!!!!!! Only two more nights till the season finale!!!!!!
