When It Rains…

You know the rest.

I just wanted to throw a quick post on here to ask for some prayer for a friend of mine who is currently sitting in a doctors office waiting room, twenty-minutes after his appointment was scheduled, waiting to speak to a neurologist to find out if he has something wrong with his brain.

For several weeks now he has had severe headaches, and after a bunch of visits to “regular” doctors was referred to see a specialist.  This on top of several other things that have added stress and tragedy in the lives of our friends.  So if you are a praying person, now would be a great time.  Thanks.

    Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

    Luke 9:11 But when the multitudes knew [it], they followed Him; and He received them and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and healed those who had need of healing.

    2 Chronicles 6:19 Yet regard the prayer of Your servant and his supplication, O LORD my God, and listen to the cry and the prayer which Your servant is praying before You:

    Psalm 86:6 Give ear, O LORD, to my prayer; And attend to the voice of my supplications.

    Matthew 21:22 And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”

    Romans 12:12 rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer;

    Ephesians 6:18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—

    Philippians 1:19 For I know that this will turn out for my deliverance through your prayer and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,

    Philippians 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;

    Colossians 4:2 Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving;

    James 5:16 Confess [your] trespasses* to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

    Lord Jesus, in Your precious name, we lift Brody’s friend to you. You have indeed promised in Your word…I pray that we will believe it. You are great and awesome God. You are our refuge and strong tower in times of trouble—ALL THE TIME. When we are down You lift us up. You never give up on Your kids. You have called us friends and ask that we remain in You as You in us. Father, even with our faiths as small as a mustard seed You are able to move mountains that are beyond our imaginations. Adoni, we are seeking Your will and hand over this friend’s health or even anyone else that may be going through afflictions. Meet us here Lord for when we are weak You remain strong and when faithless, You remain faithful. Continue to bless and use Brody as it is great You’ve led him to share this request… Thank You Lord for Your phone line is never busy. We pray Your healing hand…so that the diagnosis will result to nil findings; in addition, heal Brody’s friend of the headaches, etc and make him whole. Precious Lord—Jehovah—Messiah, thank You for knowing the details and already meeting with him at the doctor’s office. Again, I pray Your mighty will and timing over Your people as we desire Your will on our knees at Your feet…Per Romans 8, nothing can separate us from Your love…we pray believing that You are already interceding for there is power in the name of Jesus/blood/prayer! So, may he not be anxious; rather, may he be filled with Your peace that passes ALL understanding as he rests in the palms of Your hands with the blessed assurance that You hold his tomorrow and have the very best in mind for him. Have You way, LORD.

    In Jesus’ name, amen!
