Quick update from today. I played guitar at church today with this guy, and broke my g-string, which never is not funny.
I think both sets went decent though.
Now I am off to grab coffee with this guy and show him the results of what we talked about here.

sorry i didn’t have any extra strings of any letter. i usually have a 6 pack or 2.

as bad as this sounds you always seem to break your g-string. ha ha ha
Yeah. My G-string gives me issues all the time.

I used to break g strings all the time, but I haven’t for a few years. I think changing gauges and picks. I use tortex picks (the yellow ones) and I also changed my nut once; that might have helped.
