Last night Kristin and I took the boys to Jackson, TN to say hey to the MercyMe guys and try doing some internet-y things in a place with no internet.  It didn’t really work.  The show ended about eleven and then we had about a two and a half hour drive back.  The boys were asleep before we left the parking lot and Kristin and I have always traveled better with snacks.  We stopped and got some SunChips and Gatorade.  I picked strawberry.

Now, I’ve had a lot of Gatorade in my day, and I’ve never really paid much attention to a “favorite flavor”, but last night it occurred to me that I don’t think there are different flavors of Gatorade. I think they are all the same flavor, just with bright colors. Honestly I don’t know if I have ever tasted a difference. I mean, seriously. Anyone out there really have a favorite Gatorade flavor? Can anyone tell a difference? Then Gatorade got really creative and decided to go with the clear Gatorade flavors which, consistent with the rest, all taste the same, only now the only difference is the bright label, rather than the bright liquid. Genius.

This week is picking up and I don’t even know my entire schedule. All I know is there are plenty of things going on and I have to be at a handful of them. Hopefully by the end of the day I will have a decent idea as to what I am doing. And hopefully I will have something more interesting than Gatorade to talk about.

I think that was funnier at 2 am.

I still agree with you though….

So I guess it’s not a favorite flavor question, but a favorite color, since they all taste the same.

~ I like to drink the blue one, it looks colder.

In all my life, I have never tasted any Gatorade…but glad to know that I really have not missed it.

Lemon Lime is the best flavor.

I drank it by the gallon during summer 2 a day tennis practices. When you’ve been in the Texas sun for 6 hours baking on a green and red concrete skillet, you can be sure that you will notice every wonderful nuance of flavor in the heaven that is Gatorade.

    That is all.

Yellow No. 5 is pretty good. Red No. 40 makes me throw up.
