Meetings Today
I don’t have meetings often but it seems like when I have them, they all fall around the same time. I kind of like it that way. I like to be in that mindset. Today is one of those days. I have three meetings and I’m looking forward to each one.
The first is at ten o’clock with the folks over at INO Records. Since I work with a handful of their artists, it’s important that we hang out every once in a while. Plus it’s cool to hear what they are up to and I know they want to know what this blogging thing is up to.
After that I have a meeting at noon about the company. At this point it’s un-officially called “The Company”. It has a name, but we are still working on getting all the legal stuff in order, hence the meeting. We are getting close though. Once all these ducks are in a row, we can move forward a little better. A good meeting to have.
Then at two o’clock I am meeting with the blogfather himself. Randy and Spence are facilitating an event called LifeWork 2.0 and I am excited to hear what Randy has to say about all of that. Not to mention we haven’t ever really hung out so what do you do when you want to hang out with someone in this area and industry? You go to coffee.
So there’s my day in a nutshell. What’s your friday look like?

My Friday? I’m working half a day, then heading back up the hill to attend a funeral. (I wonder if I’ll see your sister there?) This evening, my sisterinlaw, my daughter, her friend, and I are going to see Prom Night. We love the thrillers.
My Friday’s are my quietest of all days. Normally work a 3/4 day, go home, relax, blog, and just enjoy the beginning of my weekend.
However, what hectic schedule I miss on Friday, I make up for Saturday evening through Sunday afternoon.

I have a meeting with a music festival to talk marketing and pr and such. Which means I actually have to put on makeup and decent clothes.
My daughter is making an emergency stop in town to get a check up so she can go to school in Spain. So I will chat with her.
Right now I’m watching squirrels case each other in my backyard and thinking about how stupid it was for you to taser yourself. The two have nothing in common – that is just what is going through my head.
It’s awesome that you look forward to your meetings you have today. Hopefully that makes for a great day!
Work till 5, then a worship service at church. I will be trying to use a POD xt live. A little uncomfortable and worried about that.
We’ll see how it goes.
Let’s see:
1. Pop popcorn and watch Boz with my 3 year old.
2. Make grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch.
3. Go to playgroup.
4. Put the youngest two down for a nap.
5. Help 5 year old practice piano.
6. When kids wake up, take them for a walk.
7. Dinner, bathtime, bedtime for kids.
8. Date with my husband! Fun!
Have fun at your meetings. I daydream about having meetings.
Well, the “work” part of Friday is about over…mostly it looked like researching, writing and establishing contacts for stories and assignments I have. In a bit I’ll head home and crash for a while, then go to a birthday party for a friend. Knowing this group, there’s no telling what mayhem will ensue.
Same-old till Ragan tried to break his thumb. Didn’t thankfully.
Gigantic 11yr old knucklehead.
(possible band name??)
Tonight…pizza and a movie w/the fam.
Dropped off the kids at school, worked out.
Not
Took a friend to lunch for my birthday (tomorrow) at Wing Stop. Picked up kids from school. Driving 2 hrs to Oakhurst, CA for AWANA Bible Quiz competition for our 3rd grader. Pizza will follow. Then (mercifully) sleep.
I do not know where that “Not” came from – sorry.
There are 4 days left in tax season and I run two of the four offices in our city. I’ll give you one guess what I’m NOT doing today.
