Well, I just sat down from an entire day of having awesome meetings, dinner with the family, watching my far more mechanical neighbor fix my lawn mower (again) and returning a few phone calls. It’s been a busy but amazing day as far as the meetings went. I couldn’t have asked for better results at any of them.
It was cool to finally hang out with Randy and get to know him a little better. Super nice, super smart guy, and I can see us working and hanging out together in the future. Good productive stuff today.
I feel like I am the only guy in the world who didn’t blog about American Idol’s brilliant marketing plan to get Christians to openly fall in love with their show. So here it is everyone. American Idol contestants sang “Shout To The Lord” the other day. Makes me wish I wrote it.
In other news, our friend Tracy is in town from North Carolina, though we haven’t seen her yet. She is staying with us for the weekend so I better make sure I bleach my teeth tonight before she gets here.
Tomorrow Blue has his first baseball game, and since his ankle isn’t broken anymore (because he’s a freak) he gets to play. I’ll be the geeky dad running around like an idiot with the camera.
Have a great weekend.

Brody, they sang it twice! First on wed. night, but they changed the lyrics taking out the most important word “Jesus”. Then they did it again on thurs.. But that time they corrected the lyrics and the name of Jesus was proclaimed to the million of viewers. Someone must have been seriously convicted about changing the lyrics to the point where it was neccesary to sing it AGAIN. God used it all for his glory, HALLELUJAH! I hope they do it again, it was amazing.
i didnt’ blog about that american idol thing…it bought a few christians for next weeks ratings….blah blah blah…:)
