Ouch. Painful jab at American consumerism and self absorbed thinking.

I love this song and the way he sings it. However, I always feel uncomfortable watching what seems to be a fifteen-year-old with a large red-hair’d wig telling me wise things. (Pausing to watch it again) Nahhh, not that…. Maybe it could be the slightly-higher-than-eye-level that the video is shot, every time they cut to his face. A little awkward, or something. Or maybe I’m just getting old and young success frightens me.
