Snow Somewhere Else

Kristin sent me this a few minutes ago. It’s a picture from our front porch. I am not there, but I know the boys are getting dressed up in every piece of clothing they have, getting ready to head outside to throw snow at each other.
It’s snowing here in “Atlanta” a little but not really sticking to the ground. Which is a good thing simply because we have to drive back home this evening, and I don’t really want to get stuck or crash or die. You know… stuff like that.
Not much else to report this morning. Not much else has happened from midnight to now. Nothing except a little sleep, and a loud annoying alarm clock, and some hot Starbucks.
Speaking of Starbucks, I am always trying to get something different every time I go in there, but I always end up with the same thing. What’s your drink? I need to find something else I like.

Brody…I found your stuff from Bush and Ivey. Love your stuff. My drink o’ choice is a tall americano with three shots of espresso, half and half to taste and three splenda. It will rock your eyes open for sure. Great site. I will be putting you in the blogroll.
have you tried the marble mocha macchaito? if not, do it!
right now its a Tall Cinnamon Dolce Latte, i just got back from starbucks 5 mins ago…
Hazelnut Mocha, double shot unless its the giant size cup, then its 3shots or more
Grande Americano…all day long.
Sad to say I’m not a coffee connoisseur, however, they do an AWESOME hot chocolate!!!!!!!
dude, its either the black and white, or a carmel frap. either are amazing.
Thank you for leaving Middle Tennessee for a few days, Brody. We had a spectacular snow storm last night thanks to your absence, and it was still coming down this morning!
They say we haven’t had a storm like this in about five years. It’s really neat. But now it’s starting to get sunny outside, and I’m starting to see the grass poking through. It looks like it will probably be gone by this evening. You must be planning to come home or something.
Cheers!
You know my drinks, but I figured I’d comment anyways…
Vanilla Latte or Cinnamon dolce Latte.
Try them, you’ll like them.
Personally, I love a good earl grey tea with a little milk (not cream) and sugar, and every once in a while I can go for a Carmel Apple Cider, but they call it something else now.
I’m a fan of the Americano, too. No room.
I’ll occasionally go for a mocha – if it’s for dessert!
Non-fat no water chai tea latte
What’s all that white stuff? It’s a cool 66 here!
I think different people have different names for it: Checkerboard, Chessboard, Black & White, etc. But it’s basically 1/2 regular Mocha (a little bitter) + 1/2 white mocha (a little sweet) = a lot of tasty goodness. Good times… Hope the snow sticks around so you can enjoy with the fam!
in Chicago Starbucks has a new drink called the honey latte – it’s awesome!
Mmmm . . . Starbucks . . .
Normally, it’s a Grande Caramel Macchiato with 6 pumps of vanilla and whipped cream. (I get this drink “hot,” but I hear that it’s quite tasty “iced,” as well!)
If I’m wanting something that’s not quite so sweet, I’ll go for the standard Grande Vanilla Latte.
And then, in the summertime when it’s too hot for the usual, I go with a Grande Caramel Frappachino . . . yum! Sometimes they give me stomach aches, though. =)
That’s all!
Starbucks – yum! I always get the same thing, too. Even when it is FREEZING cold and the poor drive thru guy has frostbitten fingers… I cheerfully grab my Decaf Mocha Frap. Funny how a cold drink can make me feel so warm inside. Mmmmmmmmmmm. Thank you God for my Starbuck’s “treat.”
Melody M.
That’s funny. I worked the Jeremy Camp/TobyMac/Matthew West tour that night and it was funny to hear them all freakin’ out about the snow. Being from Massachusetts 3-5 inches is nothing.
Starbucks I usually order different things…
