We’ve lived in Nashville for almost three years and before we left I played guitar and sang at my home church nearly every sunday. With all the traveling that I have done and not really being able to get involved in a church, my guitar playing has been limited to mostly in my bonus room and with friends until today.
I have become friends with the worship leader at our church and this week he asked me to play. The “regular” guy moved back to California so after the service today he asked if I would be interested in a more regular spot. Originally I was a little nervous getting back up in front of people to play, but after a couple songs it felt really cool to be doing it again. And now that I am in town more often than not, I am hoping it will be a really cool fit. Although waking up at six on Sunday mornings is pretty brutal.

I’m sure you’ll do well (:
And I really like the new blog layout. The header pwns.
How exciting!! The Lord works in amazing ways for those who are willing to step out in faith. BTW, I love the new layout!
like the new look. 5:30 hurts even more than 6, believe me
Oh Brody, I’m so excited and happy for you. Who knows maybe you’ll become a well known christian artist. Anyways, I’d like to see your playing, so how about a video? Hope God blesses you in this and opens new doors for you. BTW, love the new layout.
Try 5am on Sundays
I like the new look too!
That’s very cool, Brody! I’m glad.
Hopefully I’ll have the opportunity to do something like that someday.
With you on that one. I sat in yesterday at church, and getting up that early on Sunday morning is kinda a drag.
That’s great man. I went through the same thing pretty recently. Prayerfully you’re as blessed by the experience as I was.
I am so happy for you Bro. You have such a gift. Matt is jealous he won’t be playing with you though. I can sit and worship while you play any day. You have an ability not to draw the attention to yourself but bring it straight to God. Love you!
Wow Brody, refreshing site indeed! Praise God for the door He opened on your behalf…continue serving Him in worship as well…
