I’m still in Texas. Yesterday we woke up in Beaumont and were at the conference where Fee was playing. The Afters were there also, so it was cool to see those guys again and hang out a little. Fee had two sets so we stayed for those, had some lunch and said our goodbyes, so we could head back to Houston to talk with another band for a few minutes.
Then more driving. All the way back to Austin. We got in town at about 10:00 and decided we wanted to see a movie, to do something outside of a car. We ended up seeing Cloverfield. I’m not awake enough to have a deep opinion on it, but I thought it was pretty good. The style of filming was cool and the idea was cool.
This morning we are getting ready to head to a church service where Phil will be playing a few songs. There are two services and then Phil’s manager is excited about watching Football. I’m not sure what I will do during the games, but most likely Phil and I will find something to do.
In other news, Bart posted a post talking about the organization that he started called “Imagine A Cure”. He talks about his son’s illness, and what we can do to help out with that. Here’s my thought. If you aren’t tithing at church today, send it this way.
So, there it is. Pretty exciting day, huh? There’s not much to report when you are in the car most of the day. Chances are I will have something more interesting later today.
