Here’s Where You Come In
Remember the whole “talking to MercyMe” thing? Well, I need your help getting the word out. Here’s the plan. I have all the stat things set up, I have everything that I can think of working. Randy has done more work than he should have been allowed, and it’s finally up.
The MercyMe Blog is off and running. The guys have been great about getting stuff posted, and they are pretty excited about making it cool. There are still a few small design details that I want to iron out, but for the most part it is what it is.
So here’s what I need from you. In order for this thing to work, I need each and every one of you to link to MercyMe’s Blog. It’s all starting here, so we need to spread the word as much as possible. Steal this picture that is at the top of this post and throw a post on your blog telling your readers to check it out. The more folks we get there at the beginning the better.
And if you are so inclined check out the YouTube Channel I set up for the guys too. I have been uploading videos all day and have a bunch more. Thanks for helping out.

No problem…
This artist-blogging-consultant-gig couldn’t be a good career path for ya, Brody!
Outstanding! I’ll be more that glad to help out. Speaking of linking, I’ve been meaning to tell you that I’ve listed you on my blogroll. Hope it’s okay?
Done!
Curious how you handle a blogroll on a blog built for such a popular band. Will they have one? How do they decide who goes on it? Who decides? Who actually runs this thing – you or the band?
Great job, Brody! The guys are lucky to have you doing all this.
See you when it gets warm.
Link done! Great job!
The band will actually be running this thing, with a little “coaching” and they will make every decision on who gets linked, and comments. They will (whether they like it or not) also respond to as many comment questions as possible.
They will post their own words and nothing that happens on the blog will be record label influenced. Not that there is anything wrong with their label, they just aren’t allowed.
Awesome. Again, great job.
Awesome. The post…will do!
Wrote a post about them ….
I’m in! From reading you blogs I know that your passion is music but it’s great that the Lord is allowing you to use other talents He’s given you to make a name for yourself in the music business – even if it’s not as an artist. God is going to use you to help change lives – even if it’s not on stage. Be Blessed today!
Brody, way to go and congrats on the RELEVANT exposure lately. You are on a roll! I posted on the MercyMe blog and I look forward to reading it. I really love the new album and I hope they’re coming to Philly sometime. I’d love to catch up with you too if you come back to PA.
Take care and God Bless!
Kevin (shaunfan)
I am so impressed by you!!!
Done!
Well done man. Site looks great.
Seriously, brilliant. I love artist blogs…makes me way more interested in what they’re doing/their music than any number of things. Great work!
Brody,
MercyMe’s new blog is awesome. Really awesome. Great job! I linked to it today even though probably barely anyone reads my blog yet.
Their blog looks awesome! I linked them, but i’m sure they will have no problem getting tons of hits.
Since you are a link on Phil’s blog, I thought maybe you could answer this question (I feel rotten, as if I’m using you…but if my computer weren’t wacked out I would totally put the MercyMe banner on my blog, *smile*, so that makes things right, eh? Kidding, kidding). Do you by any chance know where I could purchase his CD “Give You My World”? It’s hopefully going to be a surprise birthday present for my sister, if I ever find it…Thanks so much!
They going to make me a link? Hint hint, wink wink…
Their blog looks great and it’s already loaded with good content. Way to hit the ground running! We’ll be doing our MM post today.
Love it!
