193106willow-posters.jpgI know I mentioned a couple days ago that Goonies would be our next “Catch Up Movie Night” selection, but tonight that decision was over-ruled when I walked past this little gem.

Instantly I got on the phone and called Kristin to see if she had seen Willow.

“What’s that”, she said?

“Are you kidding me? The one with the midgets… or small people… or little… you know.”

“Well, now I’m intrigued”, she told me.

So I had to. I rented Willow, and I feel a little bad about throwing a curve ball at you. But I’m really excited to see it, because there’s actually very little of that movie that I can remember. So, I apologize to anyone who watched Goonies and was waiting for me to talk about it. Because I know that’s what you are all doing right? (note sarcasm) Sitting around, renting movies I tell you to, so that you can read what I have to say about them? (continue to note sarcasm).

I’m off to the land of small people, or dwarfs, or magical miniature guys…. whatever.

The only other time I recall seeing the guy who played Willow was in Star Wars Episode 3 when they had the congressional assembly in the big room. ET was there too. No joke. Another old Val Kilmer movie I recently watched was Real Genius. Great flick.

    Willow is Sexy!

Yeah, I don’t remember much of this movie either… or even if I saw it. I think I want to rent it now too.
